The owner Bill McGuirk assessed the problem with my pealing paint from my house. He can perform a moisture test on your house to see if moisture in the wood is the problem. He examined the paint chip that was peeling, did a complete assessment, and gave me guidelines to prevent peeling in the future, such as making sure the wood is good and dry before painting, provide an oil base primer, and then buy a high quality paint. I have been to many paint stores before and dealt with many so called experts. Bill is the real deal. He is honest, caring, and extremely knowledgeable.

Bill, the owner of Cranston Paint, was able to take samples and match the colors exactly, to my huge relief. I highly recommend Cranston Paint, whether for interior or exterior jobs. As for Bill, he is a great guy who truly knows his colors!

I truly knew nothing…read moreabout painting and the staff there was so helpful with everything, they told me exactly what I needed, how to reuse various items; paintbrushes, rollers, trays, so I didn't waste any money. I have been to those other box store places and they do not compare, the service and attentiveness along with the quality of the products can't be beat. Any home projects you may have they will help with, letting you know what is needed, how to do it, and the most economical option for you. Also, they take all of your old paint cans for recycling so it is a great place to drop this off as you can't put in your trash or recycling. Also, if you are unsure on how a color will look on your wall, the staff there will guide you into which hue to choose. There were some that I was told would be too much on 4 walls with little light but went a shade down and it was perfect.

NEVER AGAIN. I went…read moreto their Warwick location on my lunch because the store they have near my house closes at 5 (super convenient for those of us with 9-5 hours). I went in knowing EXACTLY what I wanted and needed, bought the most expensive paint they carry (Aura by Benjamin Moore) and AFTER cashing me out I am told a paint can opener is an additional cost. Why not ask that BEFORE you run my credit card??? On top of that they did not put the color on the lid, so I am sitting at my desk now nervous that it won't be the color listed. I will painting on Saturday and if I open it and it's wrong you better believe they will be taking it back!!! I will NEVER return to one of their stores again. A "discount" on paint (that is offered by Benjamin Moore Directly, not the store itself) does not make up for bad service!
