Horrible veterinary clinic. I myself took a cat here a while back after he had been unable to…read moreurinate, and they diagnosed him and told me he had a urine blockage. They told my family and I that it would take THOUSANDS of dollars to save him with surgery, so we decided to put our family cat of 2 years down. I had another cat a few years later who had the same issue - we took him into Lester prairie clinic and he had the EXACT SAME ISSUE. They told us the surgery would only be SIX HUNDRED dollars, and the cat underwent surgery about 2 years ago and is still going strong without issues. That begs the question - was the other clinic upfront an honest or simply looking to make a quick bucks in the easiest way possible? Well it seemed not at the time, but a friend of mine is having similar issues, and it appears the cat has a UTI after some online digging - the vet returns their cat after being taken to Watertown veterinary clinic and they didn't explain the situation, what's wrong, what they did. They literally just gave my friend antibiotics with no administering instructions, and said it could be because the cat stressed. It appears rather than do the job of helping animals and providing owners with proper and professional information that could ultimately determine life or death of the animal, they would rather make a quick buck. *If this is too long here is a summary* Will never take my animals here again and advice you do the same. They appear to act more in interest of money rather than helping animals in need. Terrible clinic, and definitely not somewhere to go if looking out for the best interests of your pet.
