They offer a great range of traditional fish and chip fare with chinese and kebabs as well. The fish is always fresh and huge, the chips are gorgeous and on the one occasion I had a chicken kebab - nom! It was gorgeous. Fresh salad and good sauces. There are two parts to Atkinsons - the traditional fish and chip shop which sells good fish and chips and all the paraphenalia. And then the cafe attached to it, again serving food that has been cooked in the chippy. They do great pensioner deals that always make me wish I was a few years older. And I love the retro appeal of the place and the meals. My only shock - last time I went they gave me half white, half BROWN bread! In a chippy! Brown bread. I wouldn't recommend going there you would be better off paying a little more and having a better meal on proper plates.
