During normal term time they can also be a useful place to photocopy documents and do not charge huge amounts. Actually I think they are sometimes cheaper than the library depending on which university you are at and what you want to copy. Definitely a place to make a mental note of if you're a student.

We use this printer company at my place of work and the attitude we encounter every single time is so refreshing - everyone is cheerful and eager to help if possible and if you've missed any detail from your order they'll be straight on the phone to check everything and make sure you get what you need. The efficiency is quite remarkable here. I've known them turn round full colour printing jobs in a few hours and it's become an in-house joke where I work where we almost have a sweepstake on how soon they'll get back to us. We use recycled paper and that's easily done at Colourcopy so there's an environmentally friendly side to them too. Finally the quality of the job they do is first class. Our printing requirements are always done to the highest quality and everything they've done for us has been spot on.

The staff are smiley and know what they're doing - and if you take along something a little more interesting than another architect's drawing or big corporate poster, they're more than accommodating. I have used Service Point for large scale B+W prints, print runs for flyers, single big colour photo prints and even prints onto special (see: odd) format paper + sizes. They were happy to accept the challenge of printing onto brown parcel paper, and some card that I had found at a local craft shop (they may charge you a little extra, but they are determined to get things right - even if it takes a few attempts. All in all - top marks. Don't be put off by the location. And - you'll have to ring the bell to get in. You can pay by cash, card or set up a business account if you're so inclined.

Before someone goes crazy on me, the print is the usual type you get from print shops not the actual painted ones you get from a clothing shop. You stretch it too much it will crack. But that's not the shop's fault. As price goes, i found it very cheap compared to it's competitors. I paid £20 for a men's jumper and a print on the front, where on other shops I was told £28+. Finally regarding the speed I'll say just this: middle of last week before Christmas, gave them to notify them that i'll send the image i want to print through email. I sent it afternoon and i was told it would be ready to collect it next day after 9am. I was really pleased with the people working there, very nice and polite. They also do all kinds of photo gifts, canvases etc.

OK, so a quick update. This place isn't a Kodak shop any more, but that doesn't mean it isn't a…read moredamn cool little photo shop. Popped in with no less than eight films, from yonks ago, and asked about development prices. He said usually they would cost about £7 each for development and to be put on a disc (no prints) but in this instance he did all eight for a fiver! I thought it was a grand deal, as some of these pictures were ancient and mightn't have developed at all, so I was pretty chuffed. Got them back today, and although there's the standard disappointment in my own photography skills, the whole process was swift and grand. If you ever nip in, no matter what the requirements, the chap in here is sure to do you a cheeky deal. Well worth checking out, and I'm sure he'd have plenty of handy advice should you require it.

Small Print got back to me on the same day with a quote that, although was a touch higher than some of the others, in fact turned out to be far more reasonable. Let me tell you why! Although I'd had a cheaper quote, that price was for a far lower gsm on the flyers - the quote from these guys was for 350gsm which is fantastic quality for merely about £20-30 more! So, that was the first bonus. Secondly, they did everything they could to turn out the printing as fast as possible. Had I been able to confirm that day he'd have sorted it for me the next day, which is incredible considering other estimations had been for 7+working days. So, I went for these guys with no prior knowledge and hoped for the best... Low and behold, the print quality was fabulous. Although I'd missed getting it in for the Friday he turned it around on the Monday for me, which was excellent. He offered to drop it around to me personally as well, with no extra cost, which was even better. All in all I was hugely impressed. A great price, fast turn around, helpful and friendly advice with a very personal and attentive service. Highly recommended!
