It is a traditional arts and crafts shops, selling quality materials in the way of fine paint brushes, drawing pencils of many kinds, quality paper meant for certain tasks etc. As I say in many other of my reviews, I prefer a more creative way of finding imaginative materials in unexpected places, rather than conforming to these sorts of traditional (overpriced) shops, but for what it is, it is a great thing to have in Headingley, away from the busy pub ridden road.

The price they offer is also excellent and rarely beaten. I use them for short run items such as leaflets, flyers, legal documents etc. They also offer large format digital printing such as exhibition banners. They can usually turn print round in 1 - 3 days which is excellent. I've sent files before and picked up the print 2 hours later. Great printers at a great price!

Small Print got back to me on the same day with a quote that, although was a touch higher than some of the others, in fact turned out to be far more reasonable. Let me tell you why! Although I'd had a cheaper quote, that price was for a far lower gsm on the flyers - the quote from these guys was for 350gsm which is fantastic quality for merely about £20-30 more! So, that was the first bonus. Secondly, they did everything they could to turn out the printing as fast as possible. Had I been able to confirm that day he'd have sorted it for me the next day, which is incredible considering other estimations had been for 7+working days. So, I went for these guys with no prior knowledge and hoped for the best... Low and behold, the print quality was fabulous. Although I'd missed getting it in for the Friday he turned it around on the Monday for me, which was excellent. He offered to drop it around to me personally as well, with no extra cost, which was even better. All in all I was hugely impressed. A great price, fast turn around, helpful and friendly advice with a very personal and attentive service. Highly recommended!

The staff are smiley and know what they're doing - and if you take along something a little more interesting than another architect's drawing or big corporate poster, they're more than accommodating. I have used Service Point for large scale B+W prints, print runs for flyers, single big colour photo prints and even prints onto special (see: odd) format paper + sizes. They were happy to accept the challenge of printing onto brown parcel paper, and some card that I had found at a local craft shop (they may charge you a little extra, but they are determined to get things right - even if it takes a few attempts. I personally love the shop, it's fairly new as there used to be a small Paperchase in the Borders bookshop, but this was closed down (sadly.) The Paperchase shop is really quite big and is always busy. They sell a range of items including pens, paper, other stationery, cards, gift wrap, kitchenware, and homeware. Practically everything they sell is patterned with one of their unique prints, which they change periodically. It's quite an expensive shop but for me they sell the kinds of things I love so I don't mind, but I know a lot of people just think it's a rip-off.

I was delighted to find this store, just a half hour south in Leeds. The store was spacious and bright. There were an extraordinary assortment of metal dies from multiple companies. And plenty of rubber stamps, both wood mounted and clear, to choose from. The scrapbook paper selection was on the small side, but had beautiful choices. There were also ample paper pads. I appreciated the card sample table at the very front of the store, offering inspiration. My only wish was that the store stayed open later on weekdays. It was hard to get there with enough time to leisurely shop, and I had to leave work early. As it was, I had just a half hour to speed shop!
