They sell things from the simplest digital cameras to those proper light reflector things that I don't know the name of, because I'm not a pro photographer! I was looking for a tripod when I popped in and there were plenty on offer from about £30 into the hundreds. Wow there, I don't want to spend that much! I might look on the internet to compare prices but if there's not much in it I'd rather come back here to chat to someone about the kind of thing I need. They also had loads of bags designed to fit around your camera - very handy and not something I've seen around much before.

Popped in with no less than eight films, from yonks ago, and asked about development prices. He said usually they would cost about £7 each for development and to be put on a disc (no prints) but in this instance he did all eight for a fiver! I thought it was a grand deal, as some of these pictures were ancient and mightn't have developed at all, so I was pretty chuffed. Got them back today, and although there's the standard disappointment in my own photography skills, the whole process was swift and grand. If you ever nip in, no matter what the requirements, the chap in here is sure to do you a cheeky deal. Well worth checking out, and I'm sure he'd have plenty of handy advice should you require it.

After 3 quality buying…read moreexperiences with Wex I thought Dale photographic they`ve been around for years, I purchased a immaculate second hand camera which I after trying would describe as poor to OK performance. Compared to my old Canon 350d I would choose the later. I went to discuss this and return the camera as it was not worth what I paid and they refused point blank. So I contacted Wex and they offered trade in nearly what I paid and I now have a decent camera. So don`t bother going local and make sure you read the Dale return policy as if you not happy they don`t care and will not do anything to help.

When I visited the shop I didn't feel that welcome. It's quite a small and dark shop. The staff seemed friendly enough but were too busy to help. I was looking for a second hand film camera, and they only had a couple on display. Unfortunately they were too busy to help me so I just left. One plus about this shop is the range of film they sell. The prices are quite high hut its quite unusual to still get a good range of camera film in a physical shop rather than online.

Ohn the whole they are pretty good, helpful and attentive as…read morestaff members but, some on the shop floor, in very busy times, when you and they are limited for time do not appear to be trained properly with knowledge. I'm trying to be helpful here all staff reflect your business. If out on the floor with below basic info, its a deffo minus for your business and frustrating to your customers, I dont' know, I'll go and ask someone elseoh they are busy can yo come backetc, IS NOT HELPFUL! Also, shop floor prices do not reflect the web price so you have to be on the ball to get the best prices in store! On the whole for convinience from all 3 main Leeds camera shops when compared, (and for comparison prices on the internet), Jessops quite often are cheaper they are cheaper butyou have to know what you are buying as not all technical knowledge is forthcoming from several staff memebrs for compatablity to kit you may alteady have. Ordering products in to the store is frustrating from 2 main points 1. Not phoning you when they promise too (VERY ANNOYING) TO GIVE YOU DEFINATE DELIVERY DATES OR INFO. 2. When Jessops staff do call you they tell you it should be in and when you turn up no one knows where the product is and the system they are using showing warehouse info conflicts to what you are told.Not good!! On a plus point, starting off with the camera they were VERY HELPFUL helping me navigate around the camera on many occassions with revisits so thanks very much! Will I continue to use Jessops? Yes, but if not on the shelf, I just wont bother.

A review of a printer and copier place? Sounds dull but this is such a great little place I had to…read moremention it. We use this printer company at my place of work and the attitude we encounter every single time is so refreshing - everyone is cheerful and eager to help if possible and if you've missed any detail from your order they'll be straight on the phone to check everything and make sure you get what you need. The efficiency is quite remarkable here. I've known them turn round full colour printing jobs in a few hours and it's become an in-house joke where I work where we almost have a sweepstake on how soon they'll get back to us. We use recycled paper and that's easily done at Colourcopy so there's an environmentally friendly side to them too. Finally the quality of the job they do is first class. Our printing requirements are always done to the highest quality and everything they've done for us has been spot on.

I can't rate colour copy particuarly well because I only nipped in once to get my passport…read morephotocopied, which only cost 10p and the guy seemed very friendly. It looked like they had a decent amount of kit in there and offer large banner printing etc and the prices seem reasonable. As a web designer I'm not generally fussed with printed material so on the occasions I need something printing it's good to know there is a reliable business around the corner.
