Can someone tell me about the pricing of riding on a trail?. I'm a Immediate rider.

Hi Daniel: Thanks for the inquiry, but we do not do trail rides only private lessions.

If you don't own a horse, you can take lessons or ride one of there's no matter your experience level. They have a few different areas for riding both inside and out. I had a great time going for a ride down the trail outside with absolutely no experience. The horse I was riding followed the guides horse so I pretty much just got to enjoy.

WHOSE BARN IS IT ANYWAY? As a beginner, this was a shame. I…read morewould have (prior to this experience) recommended anyone to SRRC, and often did. Now, I wouldn't recommend this barn to anyone because I had a contractual dispute regarding a lease with Teicia Walker and Marc W. This led to being unceremoniously blocked and then banned from the barn based upon lies and carefully worded threats framed to the barn owner, Gina. (I was paying $550, while another lessor paid $275, others less so- all the while I had to purchase move-x injections, food, made signs for dietary restrictions, always brought fresh nutritious snacks, pampered the horse every time I was there, stayed long hours to prepare him for shows where I wouldn't be showing him, and obtained my own tack trunk, investing in the horse I loved so much). I wanted to resume lessons with another trainer after a time, and Gina allowed me to book. I received a call back from Gina shortly thereafter with an elevated and disrespectful tone stating she doesn't do drama-- I didn't call with drama, I called to book a lesson. Essentially, I was told that if I were to return to the barn for lessons, Teicia would remove her horses from there, which would then lead to a loss of revenue. I was taken off the schedule (sounds a lot like extortion). Is it Teicia's barn or is it Gina's? The inability to discern why, when I had done nothing wrong and only tried to right the course to train with another trainer after a cooling off period, and on the original horse I had trained on previously, I was still told no unless things were worked out with Teicia. There was no working anything out with Teicia as she had been busy defaming my character and making up ridiculous lies to justify removing me from the barn. I wanted to go on days she wasn't there and just leave afterwards, even this was not considered. This is NOT the barn I thought it was, it is only suitable if you enjoy drama, enjoy being defamed, and having your character assassinated because you would not remain silent while being ripped off. Quite a grift, buyer BEWARE.

I totally forgot how majestic and beautiful these animals are. Upon entering, we were greeted by Ania who turned out to be our instructor/guide for our trail ride. Upon checking in, we grabbed horseback riding helmets and Ania walked us through some basic instructions and what to expect on the trail ride. It was great to learn how to push the horse to move, stop, or speed up. My horse was Eleanor, a grey Mustang Mare. She was super friendly and easy to ride with. The trail ride includes scenic bridle paths in Loantaka Park and we even picked up the pace and trotted a couple of times which was amazing to experience. Definitely one of my favorite activities I've done in 2025. I can't recommend Seaton Hackney Stables enough!

There's a first time for everything.Seaton Hackney Stables has been unprofessional, condescending, and just plain rude. I first found out about this place through google. I looked up horse back riding as a Christmas gift for my wife and Groupon was the first option which pulled this place up as they had a trail ride deal for two. I purchased it and sometime in February I reached out to them to schedule the ride. When I was on the phone with them. A young lady told me to not claim it yet so she can have access to the code the day of. We scheduled for April 4th (for the nice weather) I believe and she reassured me that even tho it was outside the expire date (march 17th) , as long as I had the code it would be fully covered. I tried calling march 17th because I was weary of the expiration date and it took me to voicemail. I called again a few days later and they didn't answer. I then called Monday the 23rd which they answered and informed me that since it was past the expiration date I would have to pay whatever is left over from full price which was $60 dollars. So $160 dollars total. I went along with it (even tho they said it would be fully covered prior) because I'm non-confrontational and even rescheduled for the 29th as me and my wife wanted to do something over the weekend. Now, today is the 29th and we had a family emergency to take care of in the morning which didn't leave us with any time in the afternoon to get to the appointment, so I call them reschedule and then the lady on the phone tells me we have to pay another surcharge on top of the $60 to cover the cancellation and to reschedule and I was shocked. I wanted to make sure I was hearing her right and she got annoyed that I asked her to repeat herself. By this point I am annoyed with everything that has happened so I let her know I will call her back, and open a refund claim thru Groupon. Lastly, I get a call back from Seaton hackney stables and they wanted to confirm I was coming to the appointment. I let them know I wasn't and the lady on the phone starts yelling at me. Asking why I was cancelling. I told her why again and that I opened a claim with Groupon. She was furious. She asked me why I would do that and after I explained the entire situation she told me of course I can't claim an expired Groupon; and that I have to pay full price and plus the price to reschedule. she also got mad that I went through Groupon. Like I said I am non-confrontational but at that point I gave her a piece of my mind about everything that happened and she asked if was coming once more. Before I said no, she hung up on me. After all that I reported it to Groupon and am still waiting for a refund. I want to leave this as a warning. The people running this place need to train their employees on courtesy as they are a representation of them in overall. They were rude, condescending, and added charges everywhere. They all need to get on the same page over there to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I hope everybody reads the rest of the low reviews. Do not trust this place.
