I've only explored the children's section which is where I spend most of my time because of my toddler. They had clean family bathrooms. There was a book case shaped like a train and a little play train station. There was a baby section for them to crawl in; toys, play kitchen, and train table. I loved that there were little reading nooks built into the walls. In front of the librarian desk, there's a huge play tree where kids can go in it. On the side, a big craft room with blocks and magnetic tiles. They had a fish tank, a tank with worms/isopods, computers, and so much stimulation for the little ones. I'm sure they have great activities, events, and resources as with other libraries. The librarians were friendly; it was a busy Saturday afternoon because it was kind of rainy out. The little kids were being rowdy at one point and the librarian shushed them in a stern but friendly way. All of us parents were trying our best, but things got out of hand when you mix a bunch of little kids together lol. Overall, I wish this library was closer to me, I would be there often!

It's cute here. I…read morebrought my son last week to their free Tots and Tunes class that was geared from 18 months to 3 or 4 years old. He had just turned 18 months, so the activities were a little on the difficult side for him to understand. A 45 minute class with song, scarves, stories, instruments, felt storyboard. They have a play area, which things of the sort, with all of their potential germs sketch me out. My son really enjoyed it. He just got really mad when it was time to go and I wanted to wipe down his hands! I just wish the other hot mess moms there had a better comprehension of personal space.

What a darling little library. I went for the first time on Saturday. I am worn out by the horrible…read moresmell and overcrowded Ives - Main Branch on Elm Street. Small in size but big in character, I like the welcoming open space design. We took my nephew to get a card for himself. They have a great selection of series for pre-teens and teens to read. The loft area has plenty of computers to use and there is a very helpful friendly information desk person there. It's a bit of a trek but I much prefer this place, especially they have parking and they also hosts really eclectic music events on Mondays. There's food for everyone. Just need a chair and perhaps some bug repellant.
