Wouldn't recommend if you're camping with kids, but might be tolerable if you're a college age and wanting to party. They had closed down food trucks and plastic port-o-potties. The river was nice, but that's about it.

I think this is one of my favorite parks around Omaha. The owner is great, always putting on…read moredifferent kinds of events for different groups of people (young adults, families, etc.) They have an ATM on site, as well as outdoor showers. Also a permanent canopy/tent that can serve snacks etc. Right by the Elkhorn River. Campsites all along the edge of the river, all have fire pits. Picnic tables everywhere. Beach access to the river (you can also set up an appointment with Uncle Scott's Outfitters and be picked up at this park to drive up river and float down the river for a couple of hours, then you get off at Riverwest's beach. Private park open to the public, so you have to pay to get in. I personally don't have little kids or anything but I have seen plenty of families camp out here.
