I had the pleasure of staying here for the weekend for a friend's destination wedding. The lodge, like a lot of lodges, has it's own style and architecture. They hosted 22 people for the weekend, and many more for the actual wedding day very comfortably. The meals were well done buffet style, and the portions were immense. The service people (special mention to Christel, who was quite personable and attentive) left the island a couple of hours after dinner, but left an abundant amount of snacks out over night. The lodge itself was very comfortable with large windows that opened out to the lake and mountain. They have paddle boats, and water bikes, as well as a couple of canoes. There's ample fishing and the lodge has a few poles and tackle for people to use. The environment around the lake is just stunning! This is an excellent place to host whatever destination event you would want, although, I can imagine if you have a large wedding party, the logistics might begin to get difficult.
