We headed over north side to particularly go here. Great little spot and lovely for watching the world go by on high st.
We ordered poached eggs with the carrot and saganaki fritters, plus the toastie of the day which was pumpkin, kale and cheese.
Considering the price point, and the fact that we were one of only two tables in the whole place, I was pretty unimpressed one of our poached eggs came out cooked through, and one nice and runny. Weird.
The jaffle was ok but didn't knock my socks off. A $12 a pop, they need to lift their game a little.
Would be 3.5 stars if I could. Not bad but won't be in a hurry to go back. read more
