Stadium management needs to do a better job of communicating parking issues and encouraging…read morecarpooling, transit etc. and just plain good manners. Stadium attendees overflow the parking lot (which seems really big, but are there too many seats as opposed to parking stalls?) and rude stadium patrons park at McMenamins so hotel guests and restaurant guests trying to spend money at McMenamins can't find parking. It's partly McMenamins fault for not patrolling better and encouraging tow trucks to come on out and make a gold mine, but perhaps signage, reminders etc. and carpool encouragement at the high school and stadium offices could help be more fair to a great local business.

Pop Keeney has been around forever. I use to go there for games when I was in high school, which…read morewas when the dinosaurs roamed the area. With the McMenamins construction, the remodeling of down town Bothell, etc, I wasn't sure how big of a shit show it would be to get in and out of there. They have done a big remodel since back in the day, looks nice, more seating, parking is ok. Disabled parking sucks, and getting out sucks on a Saturday as the other businesses are busy. Over all it was nice. We were covered watching the football jamboree in the rain, the concession stand was open serving snacks, and it was a typical fall football day. They have disabled ramps to help you get up in the stands. Hoping to get there to watch more football this season. We'll be bouncing from stadium to stadium I'm sure, but this one is nice!

Sweet little museum right in the heart of Bothell. We stumbled upon this little place while we…read morewere at the park. We saw a number of folks coming in and out of the of this old cabin and Schoolhouse and decided to check it out. It was a fun surprise for our 2 yr old and 3.5 yr old so see all the old tools and how folks lived as the area was being settled. The old Beckstrom cabin is quaint. You can't go inside - only look from the front door - but it's a very small place with many period piece antiques and tools used in the 1800's. We then ducked into the Hannan House. The docent was very friendly and was a wealth of knowledge. It was kitted out in some great antiques and décor items. Loved the children's room upstairs with all the toys. Had to keep a hand on our daughter as she wanted to cross over the ropes and play with the toys, which were pretty cool. Our favorite was the old Schoolhouse. The docents was very sweet and friendly. Our little guys enjoyed the table with the type writer, mechanical coin bank, and cash register. The docent knew a great deal about the structure and the owners of the schoolhouse. All of the buildings were relocated to the area from other locations in the Bothell area. So nice they the effort is being made to preserve the history and pass it onto the next generation. While our kiddos are very young, they did enjoy exploring and seeing all the items on display in every building. Great little detour. The buildings are all very close together. They are not wheelchair / stroller friendly as many older buildings of the late 1800's / turn of the century were not. Takes about 20-30 minutes to see all the properties.
