(Josiah…read more Campos) For a couple of weeks, I had been communicating back and forth with someone at the front desk specifically about purchasing an eight-class pack--not a monthly membership. Unfortunately, I was instead charged for a month-to-month membership for eight classes per month. When I called to explain the misunderstanding, the front desk staff member was kind, understanding, and told me that it shouldn't be a problem to issue a refund, but that I would need to speak with the studio manager. Unfortunately, my experience with the manager, Josiah Campos, was completely different. I found him to be dismissive and unhelpful, and he refused to refund the charge or offer any reasonable resolution, including putting the classes back on my account. Given the prior communication with the front desk and the clear misunderstanding about what I intended to purchase, I was very disappointed by the way the situation was handled. The front desk staff I interacted with were wonderful, but my experience with the studio manager left a very negative impression. Good customer service is often about how misunderstandings are handled, and unfortunately, I did not feel that this situation was handled professionally or with any effort to retain a customer. I would encourage others to be very clear about what they are purchasing and to carefully review any charges from this studio.

As a beginner I asked if they offer beginner classes and was told by instructor that there is no such thing as beginner Pilates. Needless to say it wasn't the right fit for me. I felt like a complete idiot and failure being unable to do most of the routine. After reading the reply from ritual reform, there are a couple of things I wanted to clarify. I am indeed in the system and use my middle name on my Yelp. Also, the beginner class is an introductory class to show you how to use the equipment moving forward. There are no classes modified for a beginner or novice Pilates student on the regular schedule . thank you.

My core, booty, and overall strength have made solid gains since coming here. The classes can be intimidating at first, but I highly recommend working through that uncomfortable period. I called ahead to make sure I was following the correct protocol for new students and was told I could sign up for any class. So I booked a 6:00 am session, woke up early, and arrived on time, only to find out I had been removed from the schedule without any notice. No email, no text, no call. When I asked the instructor what happened, there was no apology, no effort to help, and no offer to make things right. I was just... dismissed. To make matters worse, I still haven't received a refund for that class, or for another one I had signed up for. It's really disappointing because I was genuinely excited to try this studio. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one left me feeling ignored and disrespected. I hope they treat future new clients with more care and professionalism.
