If need be he shows up in court to ensure you get a good return on the process service investment. Stinks dealing with people who take advantage of landlords or having to serve for anything. I never have a doubt who to call. Having worked for several attorneys in the past I know they tend to use this business as well because again he gets it done. Got someone hard to find ... I'll give 'em two stars rather than one because my first experience was fine and they got the job…read moredone quickly. However I recently needed some documents served and was told it could take up to 4 weeks for them to receive the documents from the court. After 5 weeks I called to follow up because they still hadn't been served. The man who answered sounded busy and eager to get off the phone. I was told not to worry, it can take up to 6 weeks and their computers were down for three days. ... Ok. After 7 weeks I called again, and again the man on the phone sounded like he didn't have time for silly callers interrupting his busy work. I was told it's fine, they had some computer problems yesterday and things are backed up at the court. It can take up to 8 weeks. (Still having computer problems?) Call back Monday. I feel like I'm getting the proverbial finger at this point... So two weeks later I first call the court to confirm that the papers were given to the process server. They were. Over two months ago. So I call AK Court Services (again) and just happened to get the supervisor who was covering for grumpy-pants. He was actually courteous and patient and helped me out. He found the documents, which were misfiled in their office, and had them served the very next day. Two and a half months after dropping off the paperwork. Three days before a deadline I had to meet. Kind of important paperwork, guys! So I really appreciated the supervisor helping me out but come on. Court papers are generally not something to lose track of when I've entrusted them in your care and I have important deadlines I have to meet. Not to mention I'm still expected to pay the normal fee for your services. The icing on the cake was when I called today and was "greeted" once again by the "too-busy-for-your-phone-call" guy with a simple question and was once again given that proverbial finger. I wish I could continue using their services for the remainder of this court case, so I don't have to find another process server with whom I have no experience, but... Time to pull out the yellow pages again.

I have an attorney and thought well it's got attorney in the name, and come to find out he uses this process service too. It was $75 to serve in Anchorage, which is $10 more than some of the competition, but I wanted results. You fill out the process service instructions form with attached forms to serve, clip a check to the file, and place in the cubby of the process service of your choice. I filed on Tuesday, and the server served Monday morning, which was within the 48 hour serve mark of the Wednesday scheduled hearing. I was on pins and needles because I didn't want to reschedule the hearing and it felt like it was cutting it close. All in all I was happy with the server, service, and will use again if I need to flex the arm of the law.

Their explanation was that I may have filed an appeal for hardship and they would have lost money from the credit union so they took the money out of my bank as well. This is a shady assed operation and I don't know any recourse since their actions caused me extreme distress by draining 2 of my accounts. I was forced to pay an additional $125 processing fee to the bank. Alaska seems full of scammers and heartless parasites.

Then when We called him and asked "what's the plan". It was obvious he had not looked at any of our cases evidence nor put even a moment of time into how to battle this for us. Instead of admitting he had not had time and had nothing. He began to rant and yell at us about how great of an attorney he was. After being yelled at for having expectations. He continues to waste another 2 weeks of time. Paid some one else to review and post a time line of our case. He dose not even look at what the simple review was. Tells us to try to pay less attorney fees to the other attorney. We told him we chose to Apeal amounts rewarded for damages as we had WON the case but lost due to a percentage the judge awarded. Judge awarded repair costs off the top of his head, instead of using any of the professional estimates provided in evidence. This man wants to take money with out having to put a thought or moment of real effort into anything. If it's not a simple case he has a template For. You are wasting your time and your money. This man has left us with 10days now to find another appeals attorney. He refuses to file extension for us. Even though it's his fault we are left short. Our advice. STAY FAR AWAY FROM BRENT COLE!!!!
