For those who know, a Chinese cleaver is not a bone cleaver, it is used like a Chefs knife and cannot break through bone. The cleaver was heavily damaged and I was looking for a place to help me repair and sharpen the blade. Indulge Kitchen Supplies was one of the only places that responded and I am glad they did. The store itself is on a main street with a fair amount of street parking and the store is super cute. The store sells a variety of kitchen gear from different knives, cutlery, utensils, etc. Most of the curated items are modern and high quality such as Durelex glass and Global Knives. While their prices are a little higher than online prices, they have quality stuff and I recommend buying from them. Their knife sharpening and repair was a life saver for me. The Chinese Cleaver is a large knife and they were able to get it done for me in less than a day and it was fully repaired. Looking at the photos you can see that they took out all the dings on the knife and sharpened it back to the point where I could use it again. I highly recommend this service and would readily come back when I need any knife repair or sharpening.

Visited their store on Tuesday 4/16/19, we were able to grab a parking spot right in front ...... don't forget to feed the meter !!! We were greeted by a very polite & professional young man named Joe B. Aka Kfir B. He introduced himself and after I told him what I'm looking for ( three compartment sink ) he brought me over to show me what he had in stock ........ I did my homework & all the research on sizes & prices so it was very easy for me to decide; Normally I buy all my Stanless direct form a Brooklyn manufacturer however I bought a sink from them last year & I really was not impressed with their over all quality ..... Joe agreed and told me that's why he caries sapphire Name brand sinks the quality is much better & I have to agree .... We bought the sink $ 500.00 58''x 24'' with 18''X 18''X 14'' Compartments with drain baskets included ... ( FYI, I will post a picture after the sink is installed) Love a place where they are not pushy and arrogant & really look to help you.... Walking around eastern part of Chinatown and came across New Fu, hidden under scaffolding…read more Formerly, Liu Fu Kitchen & Supply, it's great to find such "old school" style stores that specialize in assorted restaurant and home kitchen cookware and dinnerware, along with various kitchen tools and cutlery - the Bowery and elsewhere downtown used to have many more of them. Although there are stores that may have a wider selection, including in the general neighborhood, it's worth checking New Fu out if you're in the market for such items. Of course, if you don't see something, certainly ask about it. Note - The entrance is presently hidden by scaffolding.
