I had to travel to my sister 5 hrs away so I was glad she was able to work with us when I arrived to my sister's. If you need someone to notarize your papers, we highly recommend Shelley Boynton. After asking a few detailed questions, she realized my document (REG 227) didn't actually require notarization for my specific situation. She could have easily taken my money, but she chose to be helpful instead. Her knowledge saved the day--she's now my go-to notary!

You showed up on time was extremely professional and courteous.... I would absolutely recommend her to anybody needing a wonderful notary!

I had to send a package to a secret laboratory in Pennsylvania. I didn't know the address because…read morethe laboratory is secret. The clerk (are your workers clerks or support staff?) was very kind when I asked about getting a package of biological samples to a lab with no known address. He/him said, "I'm fixing to eat on your biological samples if you leave them with me." I then asked him/he if he ever travels to Pennsylvania and the answer was given with a curt nod in the affirmative. It was at that point I knew the clerk would ingest the samples, travel to Pennsylvania, find the lab and allow extraction to take place. The world can breathe a sigh of relief now thanks to this business and your helpful support staff (clerk?).

The customer service was disappointing from start to finish. One employee in particular had such a loud, shouting voice that it was difficult to carry on a conversation with the person assisting me. Overall, the experience was frustrating. The customer service leaves much to be desired, and they appear to charge extra for nearly every small service. Based on my experience, I will not return and cannot recommend them to others.

This company takes all types of mail and is the UPS drop off for our little burg. Its at least 15 minutes to the next closest similar business which is not cheap either. It is very important to me to utilize local businesses whenever possible. I want to build my little…read moretown up but it's fighting me tooth and nail. This place lost a loyal customer with really subpar customer service. I had been utilizing this supply store when I needed a quick ream of paper, file folders or binders. They are pretty pricey but I wanted to do my part and help out local businesses. But, after going to the notary here, I will never go back. I tried twice to use her services and both times it was very uncomfortable. The first time she hassled me because of the way I sign my name. I told her I've signed that way since I was sixteen and it's never been a problem before. It doesn't seem to be a problem for Post Haste but it was definitely a problem for Chelsea. I don't want to have to pay to argue with the person behind the counter. I will simply take my business elsewhere if you can't treat me like a human being. I tried two different times to work with her because I needed a notary for several transactions. I didn't want to have to leave McKinleyville for notary services. I even tried complementing her ring to break the ice and get her down off her high horse. No luck, she just scowled at me. It was real mean girl energy and I just don't have time for high school games. This is business. If I'm a paying customer I don't think it's too much to ask to just be pleasant. Thank God I found Post Haste in Arcata. I have used them multiple times since my experiences in McKinleyville and I've been very happy with the service I get from Post Haste. This is why I love Capitalism. There's always someone else who will take my money. If you don't like what you do, maybe get a different job.
