My complaint is after doctoring for…read moreTEN weeks and spending loads of money on appointments and prescriptions, I told them that I would like to move to another doctor (Cleveland Clinic). Dr. Thomas was very kind and gave me a referral. First visit to Cleveland Clinic, they took me off of all the meds and said that my eye virus was not active. It was just dry eye! All those weeks of doctoring with Dr. Thomas and my virus was never active. I should have known when the doctor was HAND drawing my virus when the Cleveland Clinic was taking detailed pictures. The HAND drawing should have been my sign. All that money and they don't even have the right equipment. I tried to call Dr. Thomas just to let her know that my virus was not active and she didn't even take the time to call me back. I called the accounting office asking if they could give me a discount because they didn't do ANYTHING for me, they said NO, the bill stands. Ridiculous, they could of gave me some kind of discount. Go directly to Cleveland Clinic, they are professional! I only had 2 appointments which was much cheaper than what I spent at Parschauer Eye Center.

He made the comment after hearing why I was there that I am a contact wearer and I must not take breaks. Which I did respond back that was not true I did take breaks from my contacts. After that he did examine my eyes to reply back saying that he agreed with me that eyes were very dry despite everything I was doing and very irritated. He said that I had ocular rosacea and that it is a chronic condition that I will need to be on something for most likely and treat flare ups when needed. I thought ok so he ordered 2 eye drops for me to get miebo and Lotemax. I just want to add I drove an hour there for this appointment to. So he said I want to see you back in 3 weeks ok so I go out to schedule it and here we go with the staff the girl goes does he want to see you back or do you need to reschedule? The girl sitting behind her says loud enough for me to hear of course she wants to and does real snotty . I think I about fell over. I rescheduled and left I went to go fill the scripts back at my pharmacy they didn't have them I have been miserable with this and I wanted relief the whole point of going to see him. So I start calling around to pharmacies no one has these eye drops so I am beyond frustrated especially after the way I was treated. So I called them back and told them I was having trouble getting them and was wondering if he could call in an alternative until they could get the other ones in. The receptionist then started saying it wasn't there fault they don't know that when they order them that will happen she will check with the doctor and call me back. I didn't blame her but when she called back her solution was we have some here can you come and get them. I told her I lives hour away and I was not going to drive back there her response was can someone do it for you ummm no. I said it would of been nice to have been given these when I was there and that just made her beyond irritated at me how dare I say something like that more of less. So I asked her to check with him to see and she said ok and supposedly he said well there was nothing he could do he wasn't going to call anything else in I had my options. Here after doing research he didn't even prescribe me the right stuff and this stuff isn't even helping with the dry eyes it is for something not related to what he told me I had. If I have what he said he should of prescribed restasis eye drops and I probably could of got them and there or other things he could of ordered to to treat it instead of what he did that wasn't even indicated to treat it properly! Very disappointing never experienced this ever in my lifetime and I hate to say this cause I hate when I hear it but I work in healthcare so I know he could of done differently.

A life saver...especially if you've been to Cedar Point! On the LAST ride of the day at 10:40pm, I…read morelost my glasses at Cedar Point on the fastest and tallest roller coaster. Despite a lost and found at the park, I just knew those new glasses were gone. We still had other vacation stops to make - some that were very scenic and I needed a replacement pair ASAP. I called the office at 9am and discussed my plight with Kristin and Patty. They were kind, patient, and VERY efficient. I was able to get my eye doctor to fax them my prescription, I stopped in the store to choose a basic frame, and in a couple of hours a basic replacement pair of glasses were ready for us to pick up and continue our journey to other states. $125 well worth it. Bottom line, Performance Vision Care saved my vacation and the staff was awesome.

Much like the only other review for PVC, I lost my glasses after riding my 1st ride of the day -…read moreSteel Vengeance... *it was also the 1st day of our trip. My wife called around and it was suggested to call PVC to see how quickly they could get me a new set of glasses. Well, I got my doctor to send over my prescription and then left the park around 10:30am. I made it to PVC by just after 11am and picked out a pair of frames. Kristen told me it would be about an hour for my new glasses. After only about 35 minutes, they came out with my new glasses and fitted them. I made it back to the park soon after and think I was only gone for a total of just over 2 hrs. A true life saver to PVC as they came through for me in a desperate situation. They were professional and courteous and a really wonderful group. Thanks!
