Andrew has been on top of my site from day one. I have no complaints. He is honest and personable. I recommend him highly.

We talked about what I wanted completed on my site for what seemed like hours. He took my money and all he did was download a template that I HAD TO UPDATE and do myself!!!! If you're looking for a cheap fix or a cheap site, he's good at downloading free templates.... but nothing more. I get emails from him (spam) I called him out on it today, and he responded with: "Hey Justin, I am sorry that you feel you did not get a good value or good service. Have a great weekend!!" NO DUDE! You stole my money and I didn't forget!! Why would I give you a red cent after that???? I would not use this company. We allowed him to review our site, and he provided a quote for work on "all pages" of our site. Now he admits that he did not review all pages, and that additional work and cost will be associated. In a phone call heard by 2 employees, he admitted he did not do a full review. Since the work cannot be performed as he explained in the initial quote, and the work around he now suggests does not fulfill our mission, we asked for the back-end of the site to be rolled back and a full refund be made, since we don't have any of what he said he could do. He refused. So now we will let the county court decide. This is unfortunate as we did not want to go this route, we just wanted to part ways and have someone else review the site and do the work. read more

I will give Andrew five stars for salesmanship and promptness in taking my money, but a negative four for competence, design and final results. I contacted Andrew because I was unable to make changes to my custom Wordpress website. Andrew informed me that did not have any content on the landing page, so I would not be seen by Google in its search. He also informed me that he was very proficient at Wordpress and it was his specialty. He quoted me a price of $400 to move my existing content to a new website. My website consisted of four pages and several stock photos that I originally paid for through my original designer, and several photos that I took of my shop and photos that I took of various sites around Austin. Andrew asked me to look at his website, and choose a website from his previous work that would suit my needs. I found one that I thought would work, as far as layout, but specified that I only wanted that site if the background could be changed to match my existing website. Andrew got to work and got the site up and running. He had me take a look at the site for corrections... Not one photo of my shop on the entire website, he had only listed one of my two locations, the three photos that he used were repeated several times, even on the same page, and the website background was white. No big deal right... I asked for revisions and Andrew added one photo that I asked for. I then asked for a dark brown background, to which he replied, 60% of website traffic is mobile, and it would not show up well on mobile devices. Hmmmm, thanks for the advice. My store is dark, my existing website is dark... that is part of my brand. So then Andrew informed me that this template could not change the background color. He had me choose from some additional templates. I found and chose another template in which the main page was a photo but still had a white background. I told him that this would work, IF the background could be changed to dark brown. Again Andrew proceeded to transfer everything to the new site, knowing full well that he wouldn't or couldn't change the color of the background. {I did consult with another designer who said they could change the background color... and I changed it myself by doing a little internet search, but was hesitant to do it in manager mode for fear of ruining something} After the second failure, I asked for half of my money back, since the website in which he was responsible for NO CONTENT was nothing that I could use. To which he replied... Aaron. Your site is complete. It was complete using the Austin-Interiors theme that you selected. Then I re-created the site using the other theme you selected. It is complete with that. 100% of the work is done, so I will not provide you with a refund. In fact, I have offered to change the site up again for you. I'm not a big fan of Yelp but once in a while It's important to share a great experience. In short Andrew did an amazing job building our website from scratch. For starters, he was patient and didn't come across as a know it all which are characteristics that typically aren't found within the "website design" world. What's more Andrew was incredibly fast. Within three days we had our website up and running! Andrew also taught me how to edit and update pictures, text etc., in the WordPress Admin. YES GO WITH WORDPRESS. TRUST ME. Within weeks we were ranking in Google since WordPress is VERY Google friendly. Since then I have had some fixes and edits that needed to be done. Within hours they were all taken care of. FAIL! Hired North Austin Web to redesign our B2B website. We provided a site map of the pages we needed, along with other example sites that we liked. Was quoted a fixed price for the project and told the site would be completed in less than 30 days (this was in mid-May, 2014). In June, the project was looking like it was not going to occur on time, and we had a launch coming in July, so I offered to pay extra to expedite the project - we paid an additional $1,800.00 for a dedicated developer. It is now July 21, 2014 and our project is still incomplete, more than 60 days later. We do have some pages with content on them, but the home page is incomplete, product pages are incomplete and we have provided wireframes with content - still incomplete. We were forced to stay with our existing website for our launch, and now this project is impacting other projects. We asked to have regular progress meetings to review where we are and accelerate progress - our meeting requests were refused. We paid extra for a "dedicated developer" to accelerate our project - fail. Unfortunately, we are being forced to find a different website developer, due to the constant failures to deliver. read more

Andrew completely re-vamped my website in 2013-2014 after Microsoft discontinued FrontPage support. He worked with me extensively on the design. I mocked up exactly what i wanted in powerpoint and he executed a near exact match on my site. i feel his rates are reasonable considering what some others charge. My site is pretty basic (info only - no e-commerce). Perhaps the others with bad experiences did not convey their ideas in enough detail. who knows.
