Just wow!! Talk about an extremely hidden and deeply discounted gem in Minot, North Dakota!…read more Where do I begin? Comprised of three hangars, one large artifact room, and a lawn full of statically displayed aircraft, this museum has more than what meets the eye. Positioned a little off the main road rest this local wonder in humble silence. An inconspicuous red sign that subtly screams "Air Museum" is the only thing in the entire town that alerts individuals that such an adventure awaits them. Our adventure begin when my family stayed for a long weekend. We had always seen the sign from the road but never made time; however, with family in town, how else is one going to fill up a four-day weekend in Minot, ND. Therefore, we decided that a few hours at this local attraction could help accomplish that goal. I was both right and wrong about my assumption. I was right in the fact that our time here definitely helped pass the time, but wrong in the arrogant thought that this was a fly-by-night establishment hanging on to life by one financial thread. This place is amazing! Filled with artifacts and aircraft that detail epochs of American history from Kitty Hawk to Operation Iraqi Freedom, this place literally has it all...once again this place is amazing. Honestly, I could spin threads upon threads about how great this place is, and the sheer tonnage of artifacts that comprise this museum is incredible. If you're a local and have never been, go now! If you're passing through and need to fill your time with enriching substance, this is your place. However, get ready because your mind will be blown. Admission: ages 6-17, $5; 18 and up, $10; family, $20. Yes, they even give a military discount. Hours: Seasonal, May through mid-October; Sunday 1pm-5pm and Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm.

A couple of the games didn't work & some games will stop you from winning if played more than twice. (Whack a clown, Swimming Ducks, Dodgeball) They have other options besides just playing games. They have Mini Golf, Bumper Karts, & Laser Tag. I haven't experienced any of the 3 but they looked fun. Depending on the time you go, will depend how busy the arcade is. We went around 6pm and it was semi busy. Very little staff compared to the amount of customers. The prizes are cheap quality but will make the kids happy. The prizes do require a lot of tickets. The prize counter gets crowed very fast. The staff working at the prize counter were nice but they had no sense of urgency.

Finding out you could play then go have some lunch and return is also something good to be aware of. We had great help and greetings from the lovely gals at the front upon entering. The staff have fashioned the interior in a way that transports each patrons to a past cinematic epoch. The theater has one show room, however, it is very spacious with rows of reclining seats that have the most leg room I've ever experienced in a theater. The sound and picture quality rivals any other state-of-the-art theater. The affordability of this establishment is unreal. My daughter and I saw a movie, enjoyed a large drink, candy, and popcorn for $19. Tickets are $4 no matter the age, all candy are $3, and popcorn and drinks range from $3-$5. They also serve fresh baked pretzels, which are limited since they are fresh. This theater needs and deserves your patronage. Please visit and enjoy, you will not he disappointed.
