I switched to Dr. Hague's office after I got sick of being constantly upsold for products and…read moreservices at my last dentist. The office is in a nondescript office building--not a dilapidated house! --with a modern feel inside the suite. The staff are super friendly and efficient, and all seem to love working there. Here's what impressed me: - Really quick intake with good communication. I got an appointment in less than a week. - Cutting-edge treatment options! For a developing sensitive spot on its way to bring a cavity, they used a new treatment, painting the spot with a silver compound that prevents bacterial growth. That means I might not need a filling down the road! - Laser dentistry! According to the brochure, some people don't even need any Novacaine because there's no pain with a more precise laser "drill." I haven't personally tried this yet, but I have nerves positioned in such a way that it's basically impossible to get me numb for a filling, which makes me really anxious about the dentist. I am happy to know I have that option if it ever comes to it. - No up-selling! I wasn't asked if I wanted a million additional cosmetic treatments, like teeth whitening, or special mechanical toothbrushes, etc. I feel like in the last few years, every dentist I've tried to go to has been heavy on the product and service add-ons, to the point where it just becomes irritating to constantly have to turn it all down. I like knowing that there are options if I want to ask about them, versus being constantly bombarded with unnecessary sales pitches. I'm so happy I switched dentists. The staff is great, the facility is modern and professional, they keep up with the latest methods in dentistry, and they don't go out of their way to make a stressful time worse.

Dr. Thies was excellent: very skilled, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. The dental team walked me through everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain. There was no upselling for products or services I didn't need or pressure to do anything additional. I honestly can't say enough good things about my visit today!

And i dont think that will change as I do not feel admin cares about the individual patient. They DO care that they make money. Remember that PCHC fired all of their dentists and made them apply to get their jobs back at different rates of pay recently. My broken front tooth held on with the splint for a year and a couple of months despite having been there 5 times for my broken tooth, they told me i wasnt an established patient, and they were full when i tried to make a follow-up appointment after they had their overhaul of the entire practice. 1 year later and my broken tooth and the one next it were pulled and I'm getting bridgework at Stillwater Dental. Would have been root canals but so much time had passed along with one of them absessing we went this route instead
