Let me explain... I am graduating college in May this year (2026). I found this place in AUGUST of last year (2025). I then set up a meeting, went in, told her about myself and what my plan is (First week of September). Feeling confident after I left, I asked when first draft would be ready, to which she said "about 7 days". Well, 7 days came, the date kept getting pushed back. It wasn't until MID OCTOBER was I able to FINALLY get a first draft, after I had pestered her about it the day prior. To my surprise, she had put it together THAT night. I could tell because I slightly changed my linkedin profile (pic, info, etc.) to see if she would pull info that I had put that day I sent the email. She did. By this point, I was confused and asked to come in and sit down with her, I did, and again, left her to do her thing, giving her the benefit of the doubt. Before I knew it, a whole month had flown by, it was November by this point and I decided to reach out to the office to see if there was any type of update. Her secretary answered the phone and was shocked I still hadn't received a resume, so she took it upon herself to restart my project. She had told me that my resume writer had taken a significant time off due to a serious surgery she had planned. I had no idea. I had no idea she was even going to be taking a LOA. I feel she should have communicated with me, that she would not be able to meet my deadline. (I went in in August, my ONLY REQUEST WAS THAT IT WAS DONE BY THE END OF 2025) Feeling hopeful, I agreed to go in and sat down with her to rediscuss my project and start over from scratch. Her exact words were "I can help you put something cute together." Um. I don't want CUTE. I'm going into corporate, not daycare. Frustrated, I went in and explained that I wanted a resume that would aesthetically match that of middle aged man.. idk why I said this but I'm not great at articulating my words all the time, I just wanted to get the message across that I did not want a 'cute' resume... and she took this and RAN, started telling me I don't have the qualifications that a 50 year old man does, um DUH? I said that because the templates she was showing me had pictures and graphics all over, with whimsical font. I didn't know how to get the message across to her other than that example. I wanted just a navy blue and grey resume with some academic achievements, my work experience and normal font on it. Apparently this was too much to ask... Overall, they were unable to provide me a resume to my liking after wasting my TIME AND MONEY. THAT'S $250 + THE 6 MONTHS THEY WASTED. I graduate in May, I have no base resume. This sucks. OH, and THEY REFUSED ANY TYPE OF REFUND, PARTIAL OR FULL. DO NOT GO HERE. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN RENEE AND SARA. OH AND THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER. SHADY BUSINESS.

It was simply amazing. No real information had changed. Yet, the resume went from bland to a real attention getter. AND IT WAS. The offers started rolling in. No kidding. There was another therapist present in the office that day; he heard the phone call begin as well. I sought this therapist's guidance about should I stay or go. I stayed. When I arrived in Kyle's office, he had assumed a defensive stance by immediately standing behind his chair as I stood at the threshold of his door and he proceeded to call me "rude", "disrespectful", along with an "ultimatum to stay or leave". He immediately and without hesitation destroyed our sacred/spiritual therapeutic alliance/relationship. He terminated me from therapy with him along with group therapy as is his right.

I have tried many different Christian counseling options in my healing journey. The past 5 years I began searching all over the country, as finding a local therapist was proving to be difficult. I had complex trauma I needed help processing. I am a male survivor of CSA "Childhood Sexual Abuse" I was trafficked as a small boy, among many other forms of abuse. Now in my 30's as a husband and father, the weight of the shame and confusion was proving to be unbearable. My search for help consistently ended in professional therapists not having the experience working with my particular set of trauma. In my hopelessness a friend recommended "Transforming Life Counseling" so I reached out. I was met with extreme empathy and care as I worked with the staff to find the right therapist. I came into Transcend Wellness on a friend's recommendation. I had been super stressed with family,…read morework, and relationship -- I felt I was at a breaking point and needed some sort of therapy. I was able to schedule my one-hour session a full month in advance to fit my busy life. I appreciated the email reminders for my appointment with GPS address for convenience. (**Note to property management: please move that super confusing "State Farm" sign from the walkway to the front entrance!**) When I arrived, Ashton (Reiki Master) greeted me warmly and we began the initial assessment -- it was an intimate one-on-one conversation about the reason I was seeking treatment (stress), my feelings/perceptions of how that stress affected my body, and my attitude for achieving my desired result (to be stress free). It was difficult to honestly dig into myself; but Ashton was patient and kind and encouraging that the truth and openness is the best way to achieve real healing. With the questionnaire complete, she opened the floor for me to ask questions of her. I just wanted to know the overall process and what I should expect while receiving treatment. Unfortunately, because everyone and every body is different, she had no clear cut answer but told me "don't expect anything... keep an open mind." The goal is to allow the Master to assess your Ora (the energy field your putting off) and assist in clearing the body of any blockages (in my case due to stress/negativity) by laying hands on or over trouble areas. In the back room, I lay face up on a cushioned table and am asked to let go of all thought and simply be in the moment. Lights are dimmed (incense may be burned) and psychedelic/trance-like instrumental music is played while the Reiki Master prepared herself. Our session was filled with conversation as Ashton explained her method, described what she was feeling (warmth/wetness/light/etc.), answered any questions I had, and encouraged my mind to explore whatever thoughts arose in the moment. I thought of my loved ones, my fears, my hesitations. I felt my muscles tense and then relax. I felt moments of tingling and warmth and (honestly) digestion. When I described a heaviness in my chest, and realized a specific thought corresponded with the feeling, Ashton let me talk it out until the heaviness passed. It was a straight-up counseling session, but my counselor was actively sending positivity and love to my physical well being. Upon conclusion, I was given personal time to "ground myself" before exiting the room. I stretched my back and legs on the table, then slowly stood up and walked around the room a few passes before heading back out into the world. I was given water and offered a snack in the lobby. It was a subtle feeling, but I felt good. I was glad I took that time for myself to refresh and re-balance. I felt valuable and cared for after being in the company and environment of Transcend Wellness.
