I was never told about the ten minute late policy while making my appointment. Not to mention, I was the only one in the waiting room. When I made the appointment, I specifically mentioned that I was experiencing chest palpitations and flutters, which were noted by the staff. As a registered nurse, I know that these symptoms require immediate attention. It felt extremely neglectful and unprofessional to be turned away. I hope the clinic takes steps to improve their patient care.

She politely shrugged her shoulders in a knowing but sweet and kind way. And then night fell, and I slept better than I had slept in YEARS. No exaggeration. I woke up feeling AMAZING. The man who needed the services was a hero for doing what he did, and Dr. Langevin was a hero for also helping out when help was needed. Kudos to you, Dr. Langevin.

I am a believer! I tested positive for COVID on Wed, slept horribly and whimpered to a friend how…read morecrummy I felt on the 2nd morning. 24hours later I woke up from the best night sleep, full of energy and literally felt better that I had in weeks. I kept waiting for it to wear off or to start feeling the effects of Day 3 of Covid and that never came. Today is Day 4, and have to remind myself that I'm "sick." I would do this again without hesitation. I didn't even realize how depleted I was just from life, but the rapid rehydration made such a dramatic physiological change that it boosted my energy & mood. I found myself hungrier than normal & thought it was the medicine, but it is actually my body just working harder to get well! :) Here is the back story: After testing positive, 2 of my friends sent Van w/ AYO Wellness to my house to pump me full of vitamins & immunity boosters. Let me emphasize I am *NOT* a fan of needles!!! But it seemed rude to not accept the gift, and I had just said I'd try anything b/c my throat was on fire. I just started the anti-viral so figured I hit it from all sides. Van fit me in that afternoon, arrived on time and was very friendly and personable. I wasn't sure what it would be like having someone sit there with me for 30 min, but he was such a good conversationalist I was totally distracted from my needle phobia. (It was actually a teeny tiny flexible tube that stayed in my arm that he showed me afterwards). He hooked up my "Banana Bag" then explained the extras he was giving me into a little side port... "this is zinc, which will help boost your immune system," B-12, Glutathione, etc. The electrolytes, Vitamin C & B-complex in the IV bag were on a pole behind me and he used a hand pump like on blood pressure cuff to make sure it was flowing well. While he was packing up, I was already calculating when I could do this with my friends. That seems so weird, until you try it. I woke up the day after feeling so rested I looked at my Sleep# Bed to see my "sleep score" and the difference was night and day! Thanks Van!

I booked a vasectomy with Dr.Jacomides and was given the first available appointment. I came on…read morehere afterwards to see if anyone had a similar experience as myself and I'm not surprised to see that someone did. I am very uncomfortable in medical situations and asked to be sedated or numbed as much as possible. I was given a iv relaxant that made me drowsy but the surgery area was not numbed enough. I felt nearly everything going on during the procedure. When it came time to "clamp" the area I nearly lept off the table due to the pain. During the procedure Dr. jacomides talked the entire time. He was belitting his staff, complaining about the actual surgery he was doing, and at some point threw gloves across the room at his nurse. After the procedure I was swollen and bruised and this prompted me to call my friend who had just had a vasectomy recently. He went to a different doctor at different clinic and told me that he felt nothing during the procedure and had no swelling or brusing. Overall I feel Dr.Jacomides behavior towards his staff was unprofessional and his skill at performing the procedure was mediocre at best. I would not recommend him to do your vasectomy.

I have rated it 1 star from my particular experience, but I'm sure others could have better experiences and so it shouldn't reflect all cases. I have moderate anxiety issues (nothing obvious or would be detected with blood pressure/heartrate reading). This was my first surgery being fully conscious and without any sort of relaxant, they just injected at the site itself for pain. I strongly advise men with any sort of anxiety to make sure your vasectomy will offer something beyond just the numbing injection. Dr. Jacomides was way too open about what was happening in his head, particularly the indecision he was having about whether to return back to the left side after I had a more intense "kick in the balls" grunt for the right side (he noted both sides should've felt like that). It almost felt like he was asking for my opinion, which makes some sense since it's not a comfortable procedure, but I wish I wasn't included in the decision making. He noted that he didn't want to have to be doing this again at a later date, which he was inferring that I wouldn't want it either, but he worded it more like it would've been an inconvenience to him. Then later after he did repeat doing the other side, he vocalized a bit of how he wasn't sure if he made the right decision to go back. Also to note for some who might not like dirty jokes, Dr. Jacomides talked over the first part of the surgery sharing a dirty joke that had a brief mention of religion as part of it. I tried to laugh along with it but I was too anxious from the strange sensations intermixed with pain to pay attention. The joke wasn't particularly offensive to me and I think his intention was to have my mind off of the surgery, but for me I would've much preferred something like yoga meditation music on a cheap bluetooth speaker to help ease my mind. The stress had caused me to have acid reflux towards the end, so he did the stitches as quickly as he could. When done, he quickly left noting I looked white as a sheet or something to that effect. That was the last I heard from him, so I just talked with the assistant before going on my way. It's been almost a month since. I spent a few days in bed to help with the recovery (I strongly advise taking off of work for a few days). I was able to tolerate the small bits of pain with minimum medicine except for a few nights later I was in severe pain that wasn't being helped much with aspirin and ibuprofen. Thankfully it eased itself away over the following day. Hopefully for the follow up in 3 months the procedure will have been a success just with the very uncomfortable experience.
