Most importantly things always look clean and fresh! I have tried out a handful of different dishes, both sushi and thai-dishes, and I am generally very happy with my food. I love their curries, and I feel like their portions are generous. The staff is always polite and friendly, but they might miss your call during prime time because they get very busy and do not have the capacity to deal with it. However, I would still call ahead to order takeout, that way you do not have to sped 20-30 minutes waiting for your order. Definitely recommend for Lambertseter locals who are looking for a good sushi/Thai place.

I had high expectations coming to Jonathan, having read the really nice reviews. But I must say I…read morewas disappointed. I ordered a "Lunch box" with an 18 pieces combination of sushi and sashimi. The quality of the fish was good and the plate looked pretty, though the rice tasted very plain. It felt like a very ordinary sushi in a fancy package. There was no other fish than salmon included in neither the sushi nor the sashimi , which felt a bit boring. I have no idea why, since I saw other people having larger varieties of fish on their plates. For the price of 210 kr, it felt like they could have been a bit more generous. And then there was one more thing: they do not serve tap water. In a country with free clean water in our pipes (actually of higher quality than much bottled water), while other parts of the world are drying up, and while pollution from our industries and waste is a major problem - there's nothing fancy about only serving bottled water, it's only ridiculous. Sorry Jonathan, but all in all this leads me to not feeling very keen about enjoy your sushi again.
