Her basement sewing studio is absolutely adorable. She has a private area where you can get changed to show her the tailoring that you need from her. After the dress was on she quickly went to work with her needles and she asked all of the right questions. She even asked us questions that we hadn't thought of, like about how we wanted the fabric to drape and move. Which we were appreciative of because we were focused on the length only, and the movement and draping are affected by length too. So if we hadn't considered the things that she brought up it might have been too short. She was able to do it for us overnight and we retrieved it the next day. She has the right equipment too, because she was able to match the stitch that was used before and it came out perfectly. Her prices are very reasonable. I'm definitely going back!

Had such a bad experience here. It was so awkward as I was getting my fitting. The two ladies were…read moretelling me two different things. One was saying I needed an alteration, the other said I didn't. As I come out to see my quote, All she did was show me the paper of how much it would be and she said "pay now". Didn't even ask when I needed my dress by until the very end. When I was going to pay she said I only take cash. I went out to my car to go get cash, but then I decided I wouldn't be paying this lady a dime for her work. She was so rude to me and I thought, what business now, only takes cash? I went back in to get my dress when she decided to try to charge me $20 for the "fitting". I was not going to pay her when all she did was treat me rudely, plus why would I pay someone to try on a dress I paid for myself. She quoted me $150 which was more than I had paid for, the dress itself. Honestly if these ladies were a little nicer, I would've paid. But i'm not giving a dime to someone who treats me that way. Would NOT recommend this place. There's so many other businesses who will provide a much better experience.
