UPB offers consistent, high-quality coaching and a culture that prioritizes long-term development. We feel incredibly lucky to have found a place that challenges her while also supporting her as a person. Luna's done 1:1 training, clinics, camps and group sessions and it's been wonderful to see her skills, confidence and love for basketball grow. We especially appreciate how the skills she's learned at UPB directly translate to her games. Over the past few months, she's been working on her pace, shooting form and taking more efficient angles to the basket. Her coaches' attention to detail and sharpening of fundamentals has really leveled up her overall game. She looks forward to every session and genuinely LOVES all of the coaches and staff. UPB has been a great fit for our family and we're truly grateful for the meaningful impact they've had on Luna's development. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality training in a positive, well-run environment.

The Train and Play sessions are drop in and there are dedicated sessions by age group, focus area and by skill level for the older kids. The summer and holiday camps really help the kids develop the skills as well. Very supportive and positive environment and the trainers are very involved and really take the time to give feedback and helps the kids improve. Great trainers with Veronica, Colby, Wes and Corey and amazing Operations support with Ruta and Madisen! Nice added bonus, sometimes you will see NBA and WNBA players training!

She takes the time to listen to my needs and thoughtfully adjusts our workouts to match, which makes all the difference. Tammy is also my biggest cheerleader, always encouraging me and pushing me to do my best in the most positive way. Her support and energy make every session something I look forward to. I highly recommend Tammy to anyone looking for a personal trainer who genuinely cares and is fully invested in your success.

I'm a wheelchair user and had been a member at Primetime for a couple of years. The equipment suited my needs well enough. However, the elevator began malfunctioning with increasing frequency -- breaking down multiple times a month -- to the point where I was once stuck inside it. On other occasions, I made the trip to the gym only to be turned away because it was out of service. Since all the equipment I rely on is on the second floor, a broken elevator effectively meant no access for me. The real issue wasn't the maintenance failures -- it was how management handled them. After several days of trying to reach the club manager, I finally got him on the phone. I made a simple, reasonable request: could they notify me when the elevator was down so I wouldn't make an unnecessary trip? Without any hesitation, he told me this was a "liability" for them, cancelled my membership effective immediately, and hung up. No acknowledgment, no apology, no discussion. I understand that equipment breaks down. What I don't understand is treating a paying member's accessibility concern as something to be discarded rather than addressed. I'll let you draw your own conclusions -- I just wanted to make sure this experience was on the record.

I loved my time as a player on Energy. When I began playing for Energy, it was the club's first…read moreyear as a team. I was an incoming senior at Burlingame High School and I wanted to be ready to play at a varsity level for my high school. At this time, I had been struggling with confidence in my basketball skills and I wanted to feel prepared for the incoming season. The coaching staff was a prominent influence towards the increase of my self-confidence. They worked tirelessly to adjust to each player when it came time to help them improve as a player. I personally felt they had a great balance between looking at the team as a whole and as individuals. They recognized I needed training in my ball handling and point guard skills in order to better contribute to the team and take advantage of my strengths. Not only did the welcoming and motivating environment push me to be a better player but the drills pushed my abilities to a point where I began to exponentially grow as a player. Coach Dave, Coach Jeremey, Coach Laura, and Coach Anthony complement each other and fill in what the other coaches lack, which creates a very diverse and successful coaching staff. They also created a team that was genuinely bonded through not only basketball but school and life, which helped create a team comradery. Lastly, I was very grateful for how they understood that I had school work, college applications, and other extracurriculars such as volunteering to do next to Energy. They helped me feel I was capable of balancing all the aspects of my life along with Energy. I recommend Energy to basketball players that want to refine or build their fundamental basketball skills along with having a motivating yet challenging coaching staff to help them along the way. The team is fairly new so it is still working on building its reputation in the AAU community. Besides being new, Energy has so much potential to be a successful club team

Both play high school basketball and this program was an excellent bridge for them to transition back into basketball mode. They both are 3 sport athletes so sometimes it's tough to find a balanced program that supports an athlete who just loves the game and wants to get better. The coaches are an amazing team themselves and are able to see exactly what each player needs in terms of development and help set goals with them. Both my daughters love playing Energy and my oldest will graduate from the program this year but my younger one is ready to go back and continue the work.

I'm still thinking of the ONE mega Nerf gun we wrapped and the ONE Star Wars Lego R2d2 build that some kid is getting when like 90% of the other kids are getting Matchbox toys. It's like a Christmas Lottery LOL This was a great event and way to give back in a very clean space with lots of spirited people. Local restaurants donated coffee, pastries, and salads during the 8am to 5pm shifts. Each table had a list of schools and age ranges where we would choose what gifts to wrap. I went straight for the Legos and Nerf Guns because I wanted to wrap gifts I would want as a child. We were also encouraged to bring gifts tp donate which we did as well. Great location, safe, plenty of parking, we'll organized, and tons of fun!
