I have verified with Wilson Reading System (WRS) that the senior director is not certified in any WRS program. As parents of dyslexic children I find It incredibly disheartening that anyone would attempt to mislead our parents. The director, Tesa Briles is trying to pass off WRS course work as being certified in Wilson. As a certified Wilson instructor (Wilson Dysleixa Practitioner) and a mother of a dyslexic child I feel it is my moral obligation to advocate for the children and support the parents. Her statements are misleading and factually untrue. Parents who are planing on attending Loomis Gateway Academy now or in the future, please know that there are no certified Wilson teachers at Loomis Gateway Academy. Tesa Briles, or any teacher at Loomis Gateway Academy does not hold a certification in the Wilson Reading Program.
