There is no way into the field without using stairs and no way up to the bleachers without stairs. We were on the visitor side so I cannot say if the home side is set up the same way but even if they have wheelchair accessibility on the home side, what do they expect the visitors to do? The Deer Creek staff is AMAZING. They are everything a school should be, even for high-needs neurodiverse kids. The teachers and principal and janitors all care so deeply for the children, they know them by name and each child feels special and valued. I wish we'd started here from the beginning!

For "stuff", this school gets a perfect 2.5 of 2.5. The huge negative is communication and planning. In terms of staffing I'd give a 0.0 of 2.5. I'm not okay with my kid attending a school that doesn't communicate to parents and give snotty responses to inquiries over the summer. Their favorite answer "you'll know when we know." Great, except nobody knew until 3 days before school started. And there's no before school care program, which is needed for our living/work situation.

The class room learning setting is nice although not exceptional or comparible to what is offered any given day in a public school which pretty much defeats the purpose of enrolling them. The mothers are very cliqued up and if you don't have a good collection of crocks, pajminas paired with your husbands cargo pants and you are not over 30, don't even bother trying to smile or say hi to them. At first they may act normal but that's because the games have not yet began. Who knew mature women could out do the teenagers in the movie mean girls. Unlike a good number of the mothers at this school I was not 35 or up when I had my first child and had to deal with daily ridicule for this from teachers staff and parents. There was not a day that went by when some woman at this school didn't make me cry. The secretary was the only exception.

The owner is an exceptionally loving, nurturing person. She has a staff that is equally caring. They provide a safe, creative, educational, playful environment. They are always doing something fun with the kids at very age. Weather it's celebrating Chinese New Year, Christmas, Hanukkah, learning about autumn harvest, or settling down for story time on a rainy day, it's always interesting, and fun for the kids. As a Mother that works full time. I'm so grateful for this place and the people that run it. I've never been disappointed.
