Hello, Today, while…read moreat the Decorah Walmart, I witnessed an employee dumping trash into a larger bin without changing the liners (which were nasty) and taking items out of the trash to reuse (gross)! At one point, another staffer had to point out that a spray bottle this person pulled out of the trash was broken. Does cleanliness not matter? I quit using the self checks outs because they were regularly dirty, and staff pulled bags / hangers out of the trash to reuse and the frequent attitudes of staff. I will no longer patronize this store and will be talking to my husband about alternatives. Cleanliness needs to be a priority epically with the covid-19 and new fungus virus. P.S. management who won't help, short tempered stockers do not help. This Walmart is a sinking ship just like the defective products they sneak on their shelves to try and sell.

This one has an entertainment center that is larger than any other Walmart I have been in. Everything is up to date and they even have staff people who actually know what they are talking about. Now that is refreshing for a change. The only downfall is that this one has a McDonalds instead of Subway. The produce dept. which is of much interest to me is very large and well equipped as is the rest of the grocery area. If you can't find what you want then it doesn't exist. Downfall is the waiting line at the checkouts. They have 13 checkout stands which are not in operation.

Yonkers is blah but Von Maur has always been the Iowan equivalent of Nordstrom's: pricy, quality, a little intimidating. I found I quite enjoyed it last time I was there. I've definitely aged enough to appreciate though its in the crap mall it still has a piano player, church lady hats, and some really nice items. The lingerie section was superb, as was the accessories, shoes and make up. The parking lot was basically a field of weeds and there were thugs on the roof on the south side. When I walked in a group of 4 mutually diverse teens looked at me and I felt in my gut that they would attack me. I sped walked inside and quickly observed that a pizza place and a Chinese restaurant were feeding many starving people. I walked further more into the main area of the mall and got rammed by the security guard. Although he didn't physically touch me he touched my soul with his words and it cut deeper than a knife. "You can't go this way" he said. I asked to speak to his manager but he refused. I then stormed out of the mall angry as a goose with my tail feathers a droop. I just didn't like this place. To my surprise this mall was super dead for that time and day. It's like nobody lives in this town. Any who, the less people, the faster the shopping experience is. My…read moredaughter found a cross necklace but was kind of expensive so the manager told her it would go on sale on Thursday and she would get the sale price if we just called and reminded them to put $180 back on her card. We went in person and they said it wasn't until January 30th it would go on sale. So we called on the 1st of February 2026 and they said no that it's a Kay's signature cross so you won't get the sale price. The MANAGER Sheri Ayres and her male young coworker both were there both times and both said she would get the sale price. They will do anything to get you to purchase something. So disappointed and we will never go back.

Another employee went and did a sku check when a shirt was missing a tag. I spent $1100 and had a coupon and a 20% off coupon. So my total was $870. I got $170 in kohls cash to spend next time.
