Cafe Mesa's history dates back to World War II and the U. S. Military bases in the Philippines…read more Cafe Mesa used to be a housing unit for military personnel, the reason the Cafe looks so old & historic. It's a popular place for locals and tourists visiting Clark Airbase. The menu is mix of European and Filipino cuisine. The service & hospitality of Cafe Mesa staff was superb. The building is old & historic looking but it's to be expected and adds to the mystery of the Cafe. I was not very hungry and just ordered a Chicken sandwich and my friend ordered the Salmon, both were very good and tasty. Lots of mixed reviews about the food but we had a good experience and my friend is extremely picky. I would definitely come back again and try something different.

Stopped by this location for dinner…read more The place was not too crowded. Ordered mami soup and the #1 classic savory chicken with Shanghai rolls plate. Hubby didn't care for the broth on the mami. We've never seen a broth so dark in color before-maybe too much soy sauce (not good health wise). He just ate the noodles and dumplings and said it was ok. The chicken plate was good, but I've had better. Service was okay.

With so many Korean restaurants in Angeles, you are spoiled for choice. I have tried many KBBQ…read morerestuarants in the area. This is most definitely one of the better KBBQ restaurants we have tried. We find time to eat here whenever we are in Pampanga. The exteriors and interiors of this restaurant are different from the other KBBQ restaurants in the area. They have floor to ceiling windows and the interiors always look brand new. The songs they place are always on point too (cue in KPop songs!). Also...This is not an all you can eat place. They have various set group meals/set menus. They also have lunch set menus. We almost always order the set menu which includes the beef brisket, pork belly (samgyupsal), marinated pork, beef rib soup, pajeon and fried rice. The meats here are always so tender and juicy. You can't go wrong with any of the Korean dishes here; try the Kimchi Jigae or any of the stews too. The side dishes were plentiful and their Kimchi is very good. Always a pleasing experience. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and go back here! Bring on the Soju!

*Don't eat here if you'll be dining outside*…read more My family has been eating here since they opened because the food especially their aged beef is really good and always high quality. But today was honestly disappointing. We ate around 5PM with my lola, my younger sister, and my dog. I understand that pets are only allowed outside, and that's fine. I'm used to that setup. But the outdoor area today had so many flies around 20 or more, not exaggerating. We asked for candles but it didn't help much, so we transferred to the other side since it looked like there were fewer flies. While eating, I was fanning our table almost the whole time so my lola and sister could eat properly. My lola is a senior, so she couldn't really keep shooing them away. It was honestly uncomfortable even the CCTV could show how chaotic our table looked just trying to eat in peace. After eating, I spoke with the manager to share my concern. He explained that they already do regular fumigation and use traps, which I appreciate. But he didn't apologize or acknowledge the hassle of our experience. I suggested maybe raising it with the Clark management team for wider fumigation because the problem might be beyond just their area. Lastly, when I mentioned I had my dog, the manager said I should've just left my pet in the car which was disappointing to hear. It's not safe to do that, and it felt like they don't really care much about pet owners even if we're following the outdoor-only rule. The food is great, but the outdoor dining experience really needs improvement. Cleanliness and comfort are just as important as taste especially since flies can carry diseases.

Don't judge a book by its color they say, this is so true!…read more From the look of their sign, it seemed like a fast food place, boy was I wrong! Good thing our friend took us here; otherwise we might not have ever step foot inside. It's a beautiful restaurant with tables made from dark wood and walls from stone. The lighting is warm and so are the staff. It was a cool night so we decided to sit in their enclosed patio. We chose to sit underneath one of their canopied tents that had curtains; it was right next to the bubbling fountain (that sound is so relaxing). WE TRIED: - Potato chips - made in house, these were crispy - Onion rings were thick and crunchy - Nagasaki soup - Japanese style seafood with udon noodles: spicy and tasty. - Chicken - the pieces were crispy and juicy with a yummy glaze. - Kokoburi Fried rice was bland - House blend iced tea was decent. It's not surprising that it's pricey since it's located inside Clark. It's a nice place to have a date or chill with friends and family. Wouldn't mind coming back if we were in the area.
