I've been here a few times, always for my family when they've been sick or gotten hurt. We've come for minor things. Once, my daughter was the color red, all over. We went here and what she had was serious. The doctor noticed it right away and sent us to the ER at St Vincent. When we arrived, the hospital was waiting on us. A nurse from NUC had called and given them the scoop. When we walked in, we immediately were taken- no wait. Thank you Nora Urgent Care! Nothing is less fun than having to take a baby to urgent care. I'm thankful for all of the reviews on Yelp though, as it helped us choose this urgent care over some in the area. This one had by-far the best reviews, so we were happy to be in good hands. Reasons why it was good: - They are open 24/7 - They have free parking - They answer their phones - They accept babies too - There wasn't a wait (Sunday afternoon) - The team was laughing with each other - There's coloring in the lobby for kids - The PA who met us was nice and answered our questions - They had signs about getting online reviews, which shows they care All in all, this spot made a not-fun situation better and although it's a place I hope to not come back to, they did their best. Please do not ever go to this location. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was in a wreck earlier today when someone crossed into my lane and hit me head on. I want to get checked out and make sure nothing is wrong past what I can tell currently. I'm in pain, i'm sore, and it's getting worse as the time passes. I call around to try to find somewhere to go and get xrays that isn't an ER if I can help it. I called the Indiana Immediate Care number I found closest to me and has great reviews. They directed me to call a different location as they didn't have an xray tech on site. The second location advised me to go to the Nora location and when I get there mention that I was sent by this person on the phone. I drove 40 minutes with traffic. I go inside and wait 5 minutes until it's my turn to check-in. I walk up to the counter and in an unfriendly voice am asked what i'm in here for. I explained this other person sent me here. I was in a wreck and need to be checked and have xrays. The unfriendly person at the counter asks me if i have an insurance number from the wreck. I showed her I only have the IMPD Case Information card. She says, "No that's not it. If you don't have that number we can't see you." I was absolutely shocked at this. I was directly sent to this specific location by another employee. I explained I don't have any such number. The person who hit me doesn't have insurance and as I was in my company vehicle work explained they do not cover me, the driver. She says again, "Then we can't see you." What an unbelievable and horribly unprofessional, uncaring, terrible location. Do NOT go to the Nora Urgent Care. They are NOT urgent. They do NOT care. I will now have WASTED nearly 2 hours in travel time by going here. I am entirely angry, frustrated, and bewildered at the situation of: I go to a walk-in urgent care after a wreck and GET TURNED AWAY. If managers read this (and care), feel free to reach out to me. It's no longer called "Nora Urgent Care." It's called "Indiana Immediate Care." My experience was that I asked to have a flu test performed. They refuse to provide any information as to what services they rendered and billed me for. The total bill was roughly 500 dollars. They said I had to go to my insurance to find out. Now it looks like I owe my insurance company 200 dollars, and Urgent Care 156 dollars for what insurance did not pay for. Not only did they not respect my wish to receive a flu test, not a COVID test, but they seem totally unable to tell me what exactly I'm paying for. If you're considering going here, look at the other reviews. They seem to overbill insurance to try to make an extra buck and pass the rest on to the customer. Not only that, but the whole place is messy and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. There's dust everywhere, and it smells awful. Sadly, yelp is my only recourse. Trust the one-star reviews and take your business anywhere else you possibly can. read more

I've visited here a few times for general medical issues. One time was a respiratory issue that had been ongoing. The doctor was able to assist in clearing that up. My one negative experience was with my foot. It was in pretty bad pain and they diagnosed it with inflammation and gave steroids. Pain went away but a few months later came back in different ways. Ended up having to have surgery. Recently I've been here 3x for a Covid test. Now that they take appointments it's been a smooth process. They do both pcr and antigen. Results generally come back way quicker than cvs. read more

I started to feel sick and wanted to get tested for Covid. There was a three day wait at all the pharmacies Walgreens and CVS. I searched for urgent cares near me and found this location. They had me schedule online and had late afternoon appointments so that I couple come in after work. (Big plus) The call you before your time to get you checked in for limited contact. The staffs explains everything to you it's so easy. I did end up testing positive for Covid. The only thing was they didn't tell you really what to expect. I got really sick and had most of the symptoms. They didn't tell me to take anything or maybe when you come back got a retest. I went home feeling anxious. But I got through it. I can't back here to get my test to be able to go back to work. I was negative. Thank God! Again very helpful. I truly recommend this urgent care! read more

We came in for a deep cut on my husbands knee. The staff was great from start to finish. Check in was smooth, we were offered cold water, brought right to a room. Brian cleaned my husbands knee and got him ready for the doc. Nick came in the do the sutures, made the whole process look easy. And the sutures looked great too! I have never had such a hard time getting a prescription sent over to my pharmacy. It's been two days since my visit and my pharmacy says they still don't have it. On the first day, the doctor sounded annoyed in the background when I was speaking to the staff. I can hear the doctor telling him to have the pharmacy call over and later said "I can't deal with this anymore, he will just need to come in and get a hard copy" (I have a 102 fever, not happening). The least he could have done was offer to call over himself! On day 2, I called back again they said it was sent over, but pharmacy said they don't have it. There was another doctor working this day. Front desk person said doctor is busy and will get to it when she can. She said she left notes in the system. I want a definite answer. I keep getting the run around. Horrible service. I will never return here again. I'm left with a positive Flu test result and no medication to help. read more

Best urgent care! The staff were so kind and welcoming and they even had coloring pages in the lobby for my toddler while we waited. The wait was average, but not too long. We were taken back to a room very quickly which was nice. The doctors addressed all of my concerns thoroughly and were extremely kind and personable to not only me but my toddler as well. I felt so relieved leaving with what we needed to get better and if we ever need an urgent care again, we will definitely return to this location. Amazing all around! Old Faithful. Of the many mishaps in my household that requires stitches, shots, slings and bandaids, I'd have to say that Nora Urgent Care (per Yelp) aka Indiana Immediate Care (per paperwork) aka Nora Urgent Card (per sign) has always been there for me. So when my girlfriend text to let me know she'd been rear ended and was dizzy, I asked if she'd been checked out. She said it was dark and drizzling outside and she was so frazzled that she didn't even call the police. "What?! There's no accident report?!" No, she replied, but she got the person's name and insurance info. She'd been out of sorts and had a headache. That was when I told her I was on my way to scoop her up to get checked out. We looked for clinics in the area and made our way to the new one in Broad Ripple. It was a sunny day, so of course people were out and about. We parked and approached the building and were quickly interrupted by an ambulance heading right for us. We didn't know whether to make a run for the door or wait, but it was evident that she wouldn't be the one with priority. We entered the waiting room to a full house of germ laden people only to hear there was a two hour wait. Nope, nope, nope! She recalled a place further up Keystone in a shopping strip mall. The billboard storefront immediately stood out. What didn't was the lack of lighting and the small sign that read 'Due to unforeseen circumstances ... in other words, we didn't make it and can't figure out how to peel the proof of the windows! We were making our way around the near north side and were practically by Nora anyway, so we continued on to my first suggestion. I made weaved through the Westfield madness, slowly maneuvering to miss every crater sized pothole in my path. We entered to find two people in the waiting room, one completing his paperwork. My friend checked in, uncertain of how to report the payment circumstances, but the woman at the desk handled it like a pro, obvious that this wasn't her first rodeo. And like that, I found myself sitting alone in a clean and quiet waiting room penning my joy of a Urgent Care experience, if there could ever be one. I appreciate the knowledge and efficiency of the staff and the convenient hours and location. Having been involved in a terrible car accident myself, I know that signs of neck trauma or concussion are nothing to take lightly. I'll just be over here sending positive thoughts to my friend in hopes that she didn't withstand any permanent injury. read more

Amazing! we wanted to come to get tested for covid and it couldn't have been better. we drove up, called up and she immediately began taking our info. right as she was doing that- a guy in full PPE came over and began swabbing us, talking us thru the process and gave us the test! It was fast, painless and after wards they gave us a follow up sheet so we were done! The woman on the phone was gracious and lovely and helped us with our insurance and possible pricing and calm and the guy swabbing us couldn't have been nicer- even tho it was 89 degrees and SO hot and he was totally in PPE. Would definitely go back!!! the best. Also the test didn't hurt at ALL! A little discomfort but that was it. And was free!! Go get tested and keep others safe :) read more

These guys cannot get their act together. We received a bill for our supposedly free Covid test we took there back in July of 2020 TODAY in June of 2022 for $156. The bill wasn't properly coded and was sent to insurance with no notes. An hour of back and forth phone calls between their billing department's over seas call center and our old insurance company finally resolved the issue. This is on top of a prior testing issue where they entered my info into another patient's account with whom I shared the same name with. They could not resend me my test results, but that supposedly free Covid test bill also showed up miss coded. If they can't get the bills right, I doubt they can properly practice medicine either. I woke up feeling less than spectacular one morning and knew I was getting sick! I needed to see a doctor by my doctors office wasn't open and I needed to find some where else to go! Nora Urgent Care is only a few minute drive from my house so I decided to stop in. I walked in the front door and found a curved reception desk with a few windows to one side and a small waiting room with a TV to the other. I stood just inside the door for a few minutes and was greeted by a lady who asked my why I was there and provided me with a clip board and a few forms to fill out. I completed the forms and provided my ID and insurance card, paid my co-pay and was seated in the waiting room. The lady at the reception desk was neither friendly or rude, I would classify her as reciting her monologue and chatting with her co-workers. A few minutes later I was escorted back to an exam room by a polite young lady who took my vitals and medical history. A few minutes later a very polite man who was a physicians assist came into see me, conducting an examination, answered all my questions, and had me out the door in a few minutes. They electronically sent my prescription to the pharmacy so I didn't need to wait when I arrived to pick it up! Overall I was very happy with my visit! My only suggestion for improvement would be having the staff focus more on the guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor when they do that they will have a four star rating from me! read more

Shout out to this place for their Covid testing process. Last week I went to get a test and when I called before to ask all of my questions they were helpful. For my test I called when I parked and they took my information over the phone. After a short wait (crazy fast when you compare to states that are beginning to spike) a staff member came to the size of my car covered in PPE and gave me the details on how to get my results and did the nose swabs while I sat in the driver seat. She was super sweet and supportive! Registering to get my results was fast and easy too. So glad I didn't have to wait in an insane line someone and was able to have access to a test! read more

Very rude Nurse. I had been having trouble breathing for a few days when I went there the nurse Ellen Brophy told me to come back if it got worse. When I came back she laughed when listening to my lungs because I was coughing. Then when she went into the hall way I could hear her saying "that young lady is over dramatic and wasting my time". Everything about our visit was great, up until our nurse told me to administer medicine to my infant son myself (instead of her doing it), because, "My son is 12 and I don't remember how to give medicine to babies." Uh ... wait, what? So ... you can't do your job because your son is 12 years old. Got it. Never mind that, over the course of a week (nay, even a day), surely, she must treat babies, right? You mean to tell me that babies are so foreign to a nurse at an urgent care that she doesn't know how to give them medicine? Of course, I just gave him the medicine myself instead of fighting it, because at that point I just wanted to leave. My accident-prone self had a late night injury needing stitches and the urgent care closest to me already closed. Thankfully this place was open until 9 and they were awesome! With COVID restrictions, you complete most of the prep work over the phone in the car. I didn't have to wait long at all, then was taken inside to be examined and stitched up. Honestly, I could only give this a one because of the x-ray technician. She was so sweet and attentive. As for the rest of her team, I heard a lot of things in the waiting room I wish I hadn't. There were racist comments made behind the counter as well as an open conversation about those who were being treated. We could hear them complaining about those who had come in for that which seemed insignificant to the staff. There were comments made by the nurse practitioner on duty that made me want to get up and walk out. Incredibly poor service. Staff are not knowledgeable . Follow up phone call staff did not know the difference between antibiotics versus steroids and told us we should be taking antibiotics when we were actually taking steroids . Documentation from the visit did not reflect the allergic reaction from the steroid injection and instead stated the resident tolerated well with no issues . Don't go here - misinformed and dangerous. We have been to the IU health urgent care before and they are way ahead in quality and service . Very disappointing for St Vincent . read more

I've gone to this place a couple times previously for COVID testing and had no problems at all. This is my third time and the testing process itself was just fine, but holy cow is it an ordeal to get someone on the phone! I can attest to the review made a couple months ago where you couldn't even leave a voicemail or you were just told by the automated attendant to call back later. They must have changed it since then but now it's even worse. Yesterday I arrived and sat in the parking lot trying to get someone on the phone for 45 minutes with no luck. I gave up on getting a COVID test and went home. I arrived this morning around 1130 and had zero issues. I was immediately helped and got my testing done all within 20 minutes. They called me with flu results about an hour later but I wasn't around my phone and missed their call, and boy do I regret that! I have spent another 45 minutes trying to talk to someone. Every time you call you have to hear the 2 minute long message about COVID testing. Then you're put on hold with holding music, and they do tell you where in the queue you are. But soon after that it just rings. And rings. And rings. And rings. Then it eventually disconnects you and you have to start all over again. Unless they fix their phone system I will never be back. I have otherworldly patience for automated phone systems and understand things are hectic due to COVID. But this is straight up insane and I can't believe a business would subject their customers to this god awful phone system. read more

Don't waste your time: it's a complete joke right now! This is the first time I've had trouble here, and that's putting it lightly (I'll never be back). You can't even get through when you call: one of 3 things happen: 1. You get a message saying the mailbox is full and cannot accept voicemails and to call again later. 2. You get a pre-recorded message form them actually saying that they are unable to take your call, to hang up, and try again. 3. After ringing for a minute, some sudden music starts playing. It never says if your on hold or not. Why does the music play, I DO NOT KNOW! We took our three-year-old grandchild to Nora urgent care when we got there they made us stay in the car till he could have a Covid test which took an hour and then we wanted to see the doctor and they said oh no it'll take 1 to 2 days to get back to test and then you can make an appointment. well we went ahead and did it and a day later they said you could make an appointment I tried to make an appointment, I couldn't get into the site I called the company and the lady answered and I told her my problem and she said, and I quote, "I don't want to be rude but I don't have time for this now". I think they should change their name to "sometimes care" or in our case "no care". I'm thinking about suing them for using urgent care and it takes two or three days to see a doctor. We never were able to see a doctor. they don't have time to help you. totally unhappy with everything that came in contact with this company. Please change name to MAYBE CARE of NORA. It seems to me that a rude front office is indicative of the care one might receive. read more
