The menu isn't big, but that's no problem. It makes choosing your meal easier ;) I do wish there was a bigger portion for the price. To be clear, most Asian food in Bern is far far from authentic, and Mishio falls into that category. Everything here feels like a copy of a copy of a copy of some imagined dish-- and this is pan Asian at its best (the menu includes pad thai, samosas, etc). Speaking of the samosa, that might be the best thing on the menu. The udon soup is chewy noodles and a tasteless tepid broth.

The staff that assisted me was kind and patient despite me taking my time making my choices. You choose a bowl base (rice, noodles, or salad), a meat, a veggie, a sauce, and additional topics (slaw, chopped peanuts, etc.). I got rice noodles, prawns, seasonal veggies, satay sauce, slaw and chopped peanuts and the bowl cost around ~$17CHF. The food was delicious (the satay sauce really tied the dish together) and could even be for 2 meal! Definitely will visit them again in other Swiss cities and the next time I'm in Switzerland!

For the udon, I had to "spruce" it up with extra soy sauce to make it more enjoyable. Their payment system was also confusing and a pain to use. Everything was done on the phone but their app was very glitchy. We were stuck on the "loading" status for a long time and had to ask for assistance using it. So far we haven't had much luck dining in the Bern area.
