We disembarked our cruise ship, and took a 15min walk into town. This restaurant was in such a unique place, among a neighborhood of all places. We were kindly greeted by the staff who could speak English! Yay! We sat at a cute little table and truly enjoyed the most amazing experience & dinner. We had to tell our waiter that us Americans use Yelp to find great restaurants, so I was going to post a review for them! I had the Strangolapreti which was a great balance of light and filling - spinach and cheese dumplings; the calamari was tender with a red sauce with just the right amount of heat; the veal picatta was tender; fresh bread and mozzarella; and the pasta was freshly made and al dente. Anyone ever told them you make Hummus out of cooked chick peas and not raw ones? The only decent thing was the steak which they did really well. But I don't like places where you need to test-drive the entire menu to find out what you can eat.
