VDB is one of the few places that still know how to measure a person's foot and sit down and discuss with you what you need in a shoe. They can find excellent products in difficult to locate sizes and they are extremely helpful. My son just informed me that he cannot make it through another week of work without new steel toed boots. Luckily, I remembered that VDB keeps records of prior purchases. I called VDB. Lane answered the phone. He immediately pulled up the prior purchase. Let me know that steel toed boots are in short supply and that that particular model has been discontinued. He was able to track down a pair and it will be shipped to the store within 72 hours. He reminded me that we also purchased inserts, which make a huge difference to my kid's feet. And got the whole the organized so that he will be calling my son and all he has to do is show up and pick up his shoes when they arrive. I shop online. So let me share. I purchased 10 items from Nordstrom. All shipments included a…read morereturn label. It is a pain free process. I purchased from Soma different items and paid with PayPal. Before the final click completing the purchase Soma tells you clearly returns for items purchased online with PayPal must be returned by mail. Perfect I understand before I complete the transaction my return options. Now onto Loft. I purchased three items online. All beach coverups. I then went to return all three. I attempt to use the online system however Loft has designed the online return procedures to make it as difficult as possible. But I note it will cost me $ 7.95 to return by mail and free to go to the store. Once in the store I deliver my unworn items with tags in the original packages. I am told swimwear cannot be returned in the store. I am forced then to pay the return fee and once again try to navigate a deceptive system designed to frustrate a consumer and thus the Return is never complete. That's my first issue. When you are shopping on line it is not made even remotely clear the return policy. Frankly you have to go to three areas of the website to see what the return policy is on swimwear. On the receipt finding the policy at the bottom in the smallest font possible again hides the policy. I find this appalling. Surely all retailers have their own policy. However consumers should be able to understand the policy in a clear openly designed system. I will pay the return costs. I will never shop at Loft, Ann Taylor or any of their companies again. Here I come Nordstrom.

The Avenue has been upgraded in the last 10 months and it's so wonderful!!! Before it wasn't run…read moredown but didn't have as many aesthetically pleasing areas but they have turned that around. The have fake grass, beautiful sitting areas, different trees and plants around...it's just so beautiful! They have things to do for every age group! You can ice skate (turning the winter time), have a picnic, run in the grassy area, take a seat and just people watch...there is just so many options. Oh and before I forget, if you still play Pokémon go...there are a lot of Pokémon to catch! (My brother was super excited about that!!) I really think the way they have laid the new areas out you could even have a outside date as a couple! Go to the turf or even catch the swing and just love away at your partner hehehe. This area has different food places to enjoy different cuisines, there is a movie theater and there are different shops to visit as well! You could grab a book from Barnes and nobles, then grab a coffee from Starbucks then take a rest in one of the benches and have some fresh air! They have parking that are close to the front of the buildings but since there aren't a whole bunch you can also park on either sides of the back of the buildings as well! Every time I come since it's been renovated, I have notice they have security around pretty often which can be good to deter certain activities. You want a beautiful adventure?? Well if that was a "YES" then you will enjoy what the Avenue has to offer!!
