This chain Wempe seems to be somewhat high line with some top brands carried with a fancy presentation and level of service. The people here treated me like I was dropping huge amounts on a Rolex or something when the watch I bought was probably a fraction of a Rolex. Be advised that most of these stores I have been to, you cannot simply walk inside. You ring a bell and they buzz you in. Regardless, I like this chain overall and when I am in Europe watch shopping, I always try to stop and see one.

I stopped by Chronopassion while on vacation in Munich. The store is well-located and attractive. The gentleman who served me could not have been more pleasant and helpful -- it was fun speaking with him about the watch I was looking for, and other German watches, on which he was very informative. The person who "helped" me was condescending and barely willing to do his job. The Wempe sales reps, on the other hand, were incredibly friendly and helpful. If Wempe had had the watch strap I needed, they'd have had my business. Brace yourself to pay a fortune and be treated badly here.
