I got a breast reduction surgery done here. I told them that I want to be a 38B. That's the bra…read morethat I brought in. They said that they would be able to do that. I said that I wanted an almost flat chest. After the surgery I felt like my chest was still huge and not a B cup. I waited for the swelling to go down and turns out I'm actually a 38D. I'm very disappointed and truly wish I would have gone somewhere else for my surgery. Additionally, I had a lot of complications with the healing process. The staff that had seen me prior to my complications came into the room and was in shock by the gaping wound that I had. She literally was tearing up from feeling sad about what happened to me. Prior to that, I was stable headed and logically approaching it. However, when she reacted like that to my body it was emotionally disturbing and made me cry. I wish they would have been more clear and REALISTIC about expectations, rather than just assuming everything would work out. It seemed almost like toxic positivity. Another issue I had with my appointments is my boyfriend at the time was coming with me as he was watching over me for the recovery process. The staff would talk to him about my body and point at me without really including me in the process fully. After a few appointments I realized that I was feeling terrible coming there because it felt like I was just an object being discussed and looked at. I had to ask for her to actually hold up a mirror so that I could be included in the conversation about MY body. So that I could see what it was she was saying about MY body. So here I am left with a ton of scaring, a chest that is only half the size smaller than what it was supposed to be, and a closet full of size 38B cup bras that have never actually fit me properly. There are more issues I had, but I think my point has been elaborated enough. It was truly an insane, traumatizing, and regretful experience that I had here.

I came in to have a deviated septum corrected as well as a turbinate reduction and a collapsed valve fixed. The only cosmetic thing I needed was to shave down a small dorsal hump on the bridge of my nose. He completely botched the look of my nose without consent and refused to find any solutions to fix it. He changed the entire tip and look of my nose! He blamed my nose looking different on how I hold my head and claimed he lost my before pictures when they were emailed to me by his receptionist. Jenny their receptionist was the only helpful individual there. My surgery was on a Friday and they informed me to call a number if I had any issues over the weekend. When I called I was told I was inconveniencing them as they had family in town, yet I had a concern about bleeding from my incision and other issues. These items were minor to the fact that he completely changed how my nose looked without my consent and I had to receive a revision surgery (by a different surgeon in a different city). It has been mentally debilitating looking different when that was never the plan and has taken a serious toll on my mental health. I regret having him ever touch my face and will remember this as one big lesson. Please do not let him touch your face.

I was so traumatized by my experience that I required mental health therapy, and was emotionally unable to face filing a lawsuit until after the 3 year statute of limitations to file medical malpractice had run out. Dr. Janssen and I had multiple consults before the surgery to address specific concerns I had relating to the surgery. He assured me that he was aware and as an experienced surgeon would avoid complications. While I am aware all surgery has risks, I believed Dr. Janssen's CV and went ahead with the procedure. My quality of life had deteriorated steadily since Dr. Janssen treated me. My post surgical life begins, continues and ends each day with pain, permanent physical limitations, memory loss, severely limited stamina, mood swings and permanent disfigurement. If I could give ZERO stars in this review, I would. Avoid at all costs.

The Milwaukee doctor was clearly only there for the money. The surgery room was cramped and looked like the 1940's. During my post op first doctor visit, my boobs were swollen and I asked when the swelling would go down. He lied to me and said it would not go down and that I need to schedule a breast lift (I was only 19 years old, I did not need a lift). I did enough researched to know he was full of crap and the swelling would go down and my boob look good when healed. I'm glad my young naive self did not schedule that breast lift. My amazing experience at Fox Valley: After my second child one saline implant leaked. I went to Fox Valley Surgery to have the one implant fixed. Not having a good experience my first time in Milwaukee I was nerves, but my boobs were lopsided so I had to suck it up. When I got to Fox valley I knew I was at the right place. They have a superior office, staff, and doctors. The doctor took the time to talk to me about my options, about what I could do to fix the issue and recommendations for better options I did not know about. I ended up getting both boobs replaced with gel and I am so happy I did. The price for this sugary was cheaper then what I originally paid in Milwaukee. The surgery day was amazing and the staff made sure I was comfortable. It's been a couple years and now I'm starting Dysport (like Botox) at Fox Valley. Fox Valley did an awesome job and made sure I understood the risks and what they would were doing to help avoid the risk. The injections were painless, I'm happy with the results. Final note: If you are thinking about getting anything done, go to Fox Valley. I have been to other places and nothing compares to Fox Valley or their prices. They know what they are doing and will take the time to make sure you are 100% confident with what you are looking to do and what will give you the best results.
