They also took back the 20% new costumer discount. So for returning 2 pairs of $110 stockings, I am getting $60 back. Not good customer service.

Okay, that may have been sharing too much, but you have to understand why I like Dr. Gahl. He is really intelligent, but doesn't act like he has to prove it to you. He is kind and compassionate, while being prompt and efficient at seeing everyone. He has his own private practice and is not aligned with either of the two major hospitals in the area. While most doctors fall into one camp or the other, he works independently and will work with your medical needs at either hospital, your choice. Dr. Gahl has been "my" doctor for years now and I like him. He treats people with respect and is interested in your life, as well as your well being. I was offended by his attitude, his rudeness and condescension to my husband and, most importantly, his complete disregard for my rights as a patient. His medical assistant lacked competence in basic skills and completely lacked common sense. His RN had good skills but her attitude and complete disregard for my rights as a patient were unacceptable. Diagnostically, I think he's fine but it's not worth the attitude, rudeness, condescension and lack of respect. He listens and takes the time to ask important questions, making sure he understands what his patients are telling him before proceeding with a diagnosis and/or treatment plan. He's personable and makes you feel like he really cares about your well being and does things that I haven't had a doctor do in years, like calling you personally when serious issues arise. Holy Family is lucky to have him and I hope he stays affiliated with them for years to come. We need more doctors like Dr. Jordan!
