I recently brought my daughter who has really curly hair to get a blowout for her senior pictures we were 10 minutes late that's our fault. We still waited for another 5-10 minutes for her to be called. My daughter told them the style she wanted it was immediately told "oh we can do the best we can but we have another appointment at 4pm" really the stylist just looked annoyed once she saw my daughters hair texture, regardless if we would've been on time the issue would've been the same because the extra 10 minutes would had not made a difference for her curly hair. I said ok can we get a discount since we'll have to re-straighten again when we get home. the receptionist called the owner who said no to the discount and offered "free" liquid glass instead. Free serum is not gonna fix the fact that we'll still have to do half the work ourselves. See the pictures below the stylist knew she was wrong she didn't say anything powered walked to the back to go to next customer. The quality you get is hit or miss depending on what stylist you get. Why have a large location and only have two people working doesn't make sense. it was a waste of money.

They are located towards the front of the First National Center building facing Robinson Ave. Just look for the bright yellow display! They immediately welcomed me and made me feel right at home. It was a Monday so they weren't busy. I wish the scalp massage had lasted longer but I think they wanted to get it out of the way to focus on the blowout. While sipping on champagne and getting pampered, I got to enjoy their amazing playlist (hello top 90s music!) and the movie on their screens (Disney's Enchanted). It was exactly what I needed! If you buy the product to bring with you, they discount the application of it (some of their products require processing to activate, which takes time and use of their tools) Responsiveness to Feedback: When I have had to ask for a correction or a time consideration, they respond professionally & attentively. I have seen some clients be flat out short and rude with the stylists & they never once lost their cool or became petty or hateful. Someone recommended Abigail Poole with The Willow an Organic Concepts Salon. I had an appt with her today! She tested a strand of my hair and said I was lacking protein so I need a strengthening shampoo and conditioner. Haven't picked one yet, they have some options at the salon. She also said we should be shampooing our hair twice to make sure scalp is clean, this will help going longer without oily hair. A clarifying shampoo is important! They have some with charcoal that you can use daily that don't strip your hair of natural oils. She went step by step in the process of what type of products to use after washing my hair and told me not to squeeze out all the water from my hair. She should me when mop scrunch and when to rake product and how to section it. Also the best way to use a diffuser. My hair has NEVER looked like it does today lol. I can also train my hair to spiral! It's more curly at the root than the ends most likely from the brazillian blow outs. The pics are from when it was still a little damp. You don't dry it all the way and add oil so it won't get frizzy. Learned so much!!! These are organic products that smell amazing. Also got a small bottle of pureology leave in conditioner. They were out of the full size.

I asked at the beginning of the appointment if it would take more than one appointment, and she responded with "no". The stylist, Kailey, applied foils to lighten my hair. While the foils were in, she handed me an iPad with a form, which I later discovered was a waiver. When she handed me the form she said, "We just need some of your information". When Kailey applied the toner, it started turning my hair purple. She washed my hair multiple times to get the toner out, but the final result was light brown with purple tips, not what I had requested. I expressed this to her while she was blow drying. She said I can try adding more toner but had said before the toner was turning my hair purple. I said, "Why would I want to add more toner if you said it was turning my hair purple?" She said we could schedule another appointment, but it would take 3-4 more hours and at this point I lost all trust in her capabilities. A few days later after multiple calls to the salon requesting to speak with a manager, I spoke with co-owner Cassidy, who informed me that the waiver I signed did not allow refunds. I requested a partial refund due to the discrepancy between the service provided and my initial request. The TOTAL COST WAS $280. Seeing is I technically didn't sign the waiver until I had already begun the lightening process, I believe I deserved a partial refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
