I got there and everything was set up. Joyce was nice and everyone settled in. She asked if I wanted to join and I laughed. Nope! My friends were like 'just try it' so, begrudgingly, I did. I was anxious because I just knew it was going to be so ugly if I did it, but Joyce said it was designed for kids even as young as seven and if she could help then make something beautiful, she could help me. You guys. I had so much fun. Joyce painted along with us and walked around giving instructions. I was pretty needy because I wanted my painting to be something I wanted to keep and she was very patient with me. It was way more fun than I expected it to be and I LOVED my painting so decided to book my own party. This is a super fun, inexpensive, group activity. Check it out!

He started with Pastels, he's now onto watercolors and he's excited to go to oils. The reserving of classes is easy. The staff helps you out if you have questions. Shout out to Jelisa!!! (I hope I spelled that correctly). She's been so cool with my kids. The prices are fairly priced. The prices of the supplies are actually better than Amazon. Trust me I've looked. This place is not just for kids. I took some classes here too but unfortunately due to my schedule I had to stop. What's really great is that my son is really learning how create art from the basic foundations. For example, I didn't have extensive art classes, I was pretty much self taught so the way I do things is my way. So my kid sees me do something and says to me, "why don't you try this" and proceeds to show me something he was taught there. Immediately I'm like, "Dang, that would have made it easier." My point is, he's being taught and he's getting it! His artwork has definitely improved and he's super proud of his artwork and that's what's this is about. The classes are about 1-hour long and if you're a parent who likes to wait outside I highly recommend Oceano's on the corner. Get some food and a drink and it'll be your own weekly date. Art with Larisse also offers private parties and events. Check them out.

I learned so much. Aaron is a great resource Cons- -four hours flies by! there isn't enough time to go over every single thing (this is really only the case if you're like me and you want to ask a lot of questions/ learn how to do every single thing in one day) -it's far from Los Angeles but still I'll be back

Sooooo... where do I start?!?…read more I have completed a couple of metalwork classes in the past - full on semester-long courses - and I feel like I learned more in one afternoon at AC Silver Co with Aaron. Studio space: The studio space was clean, organized, comfortable, and frankly, inspiring. It is set up in such a way that I wanted to immediately drop my bags and get to work. Good work gets done there, that's the vibe. If you are a creative then you know how important the right workspace is. If you are not creatively experienced, you'll be spoiled by such a nice space! Aaron put as much care into the flow and design of his space as he does each of his pieces and it shows. He was also super patient in giving me directions because apparently I just wasn't listening well that day and I would have been frustrated with me, but he was chill and patient and ready when I got there. The Artist/Teacher: As I said, Aaron is so nice! And so ready to share knowledge and work with you at your level. You need to watch more than do? He's got you. You want to be more hands-on? He's got you there, too. I was under a time crunch myself, and I would have loved to take more of a role in the fabrication of the ring for my then soon-to-be-wife, but due to other circumstances I was less hands on than I would have liked. Still, Aaron kept me involved in the process and showed me how to do things so I was still putting energy into the ring, and I was really grateful for that. Overall Experience: Overall, the experience was fantastic. I felt like I was hanging with a friend making art. Aaron was just as invested in meeting my deadline as I was out of his own sense of commitment to making sure that his clients leave with something in hand, on top of the urgency of needing the ring that weekend. I brought in a stone he hadn't worked with before, and he worked out a way to use the stone since he knew there was a sentimental reason behind it. I am so grateful for his persistence in figuring out a way to use it, and for his patience and knowledge throughout the whole experience. He even checked in with me after the ceremony to see what she thought of the ring, and of course, his design suggestions were on point because I went with them and she loved the final result so much she almost cried. ACSilverCo is a gem and I cannot wait for another opportunity to return. Thank you, again, Aaron!
