Would 100% visit again! The environment is inviting and it's a cute little place. There is an admissions fee but it is worth the $12 to play with some kitties. I love how all the cats in the cafe are adoptable and I believe the idea of a cat cafe is a fantastic way to socialize them. If you get the chance or are in the area I highly recommend stopping by and playing with some kitties!

If you're a cat lover this is the place to go! My daughter and I went just for the experience of seeing the cats. There were 13 cars there today up for adoption. It was a cute cafe and concept! It was fun to play with the cats and watch them run around. We didn't have any food or drink while we were there so I can't comment on the quality or taste. The service was nice and she was ready to help and answer any questions. It was a fun place to go to!

We are from St. Louis and have been to over 5+ cat cafes and this one was in our top favorites! The cats are playful and there is no time limit of playing with the cats that you find at most cat cafes. They also have a big space for the cats to play. The owners are very kind and are very knowledgeable about the cats! Will be returning on our next visit to Loveland!

Went with my sister today and spent an hour with the cats, 2 cats sat on my lap and fought over a toy and there were 4 cats on top of each other on a bed. I got a sticker for my laptop and a pen for my bsf back in Illinois

The food options weren't that good wide but you gotta keep in mind there's cats around so there won't be that much. The service was amazing the staff would automatically tell you a cats name if you were interested in it! The vibe was nice too! The coffee options weren't the best at all there was a few teas a drip coffee and some sodas that were off brand or something like that. The merchandise was nice though they had stickers and cute mugs and I got a necklace that I have been wearing non stop because it's so cute and it supports these cute little cats! The cats were well taken care of I didn't see kids pulling cats tails or being disrespectful to the cats or being crazy. Overall the experience was pretty great I will definitely go back! :)

We drove up from Denver today to visit the NoCo Cat Cafe and were not disappointed! We're already making plans to go back again! The cafe is so cozy, clean and modern! The coffee is so good and the pastries were delicious! But the real treat was... THE CATS! We did not expect to get to snuggle with so many kittens. All of the cats were so sweet and snuggly and there were plenty of places to sit comfortably and just snuggle and pet them! There were also tons of toys and fun places to play with these sweet cats. The cats are obviously living a great life at the cafe, just waiting for their forever homes! The owners were so helpful in telling us each cat's name and tidbits about them. The only downside was the tears from my kid when she couldn't bring them all home! Love this place!! Definitely recommend for all cat lovers!

Two sweet kittens at the NoCo Cat Cafe.

I brought my family in hope of getting a bite while we play with the cute animals. The only food offered was bobo bars and canned drinks and not fancy coffee. We were starving the whole time after paying the fee we went to order and we disappointed to say the least. And they charge $12 buck to get in. Not worth it for our family of 5. That costs way too much bc the only thing included is saying hi to some kitties. The kitties were cute but not worth that kinda money. They don't even offer kitty treats or anything for interaction with the cats. I wouldn't suggest this place and won't be going back. On a positive note the family running the place seemed sweet but I don't think they have the business down yet and really need to lower the price or offer more for the price. Like a complementary latte, juice box and chips.

The kennels were clean and the whole place was welcoming. I have been to many other places that smelled horrendously of pet excrement and just felt unhealthy. I turned in a stray dog that I was going to adopt if her previous owner didn't come forward. Based on her teeth, face, and personality, she appeared to be less than a year old. Unfortunately, I later discovered that she was pregnant, and after having a stillborn puppy in there care , she became understandably depressed and stopped eating. It's well documented that such traumatic experiences can lead to reactivity in dogs THAT YOU CAN WORK PAST . it was clear upon finding her that she had been abused skinny and scard of dogs and people , a concern I explicitly expressed to the Humane Society staff. What infuriated me the most was their decision to euthanize her as she was there for less then 4 weeks without informing us, stating reactivity and aggression not exploring any of the other rehabilitating options THEY HAVE to keep this yung dog alive . This felt not only unprofessional but also unethical, especially given the provisions of the Colorado Animal Rights Act, which emphasizes the humane treatment of animals. This decision is particularly egregious considering that, in the week I cared for her before turning her in, her reactivity stemmed purely from fear, a natural response to her past trauma and current situation and through out all that she loved kids . She was a scared, young animal in need of care, not a death sentence. I am beyond disappointed with the lack of communication and compassion shown in this situation. To add insult to injury, they have been ignoring my phone calls. When I did manage to speak with someone, the woman on the phone was incredibly rude, speaking to me as if I were a child and twisting my words to justify their decision to euthanize a dog whose life could have been saved. They took a life that deserved to live. Animals deserve better, she deserved better. I hope that by sharing this experience, the Humane Society will reflect on their practices and improve upper management because clearly this decision was made out of pure laziness The avoidable loss of this dog's life is a profound failure on their part. I am the way they are in the way. They handled this whole thing. I'm very hatred for the staff that decided to go through with this and not speak up.

Though the adoption process is long (including a 9 page application, review of app, match-up with a dog, home visit, and finally the actual adoption process), it is so worth it, because for the price of the dog (which varies depending on the age/ability of the dog you are adopting), you get: spay or neuter, vaccinated for distemper/parainfluenza/parvovirus vaccine, deworming, microchip, a 1 hour personal training session or a professional training course at a Shiba Scout Rescue approved facility and senior dogs 7 years or older will also be given a dental if necessary. What I loved most about adopting through the rescue is that we received our dog already knowing that he would be good with our cats and with kids, when we decide to start a family. They keep the dogs for a time to observe them so they can give you a general idea of what kind of dog you are getting. While it is a longer process than adopting a dog through an animal shelter or humane society, I think it is so much more worth it because you already know the dog's personality (for the most part), and whatever problems may arise can be solved through the training course provided in the adoption fee.

We adopted a dog that very clearly has retained deciduous canines which a vet has told me should have been extracted pre-adoption and at the least been noted in his medical history. As a result we will be spending $1000-2000 in dental surgery just mere weeks after adoption. While we have fallen in love with the pup and decided to keep him, we truthfully would not have adopted him if we knew the vet and rescue left him requiring 1000s in dental exam and surgery. It is the rescues obligation to be thorough and upfront about the animal's medical history. The partner vet refused to speak to me about our dog's chart. We requested a refund of the adoption fee to help offset surgery costs and they refused. What's the point in paying $600-700 in adoption fee if they are not going to treat the dog properly?! They seem only interested in making money hence the high fee and poor communication. If they actually cared they would refund us as this is a huge mistake on their part. As others have also said they are not upfront about behavioral issues either it seems yet they are so intrusive in the adoption application. I strongly recommend rescuing at a more credible rescue that has better communication and actual interest in the dogs' future and health... really disappointed. On another note, the foster was met was very kind and seemed to care about the dog we adopted.

The volunteer was nice, she kept me informed and said not yet. I asked why I haven't heard back yet, she said to check junk mail folder. Of course there it was, sitting in junk mail for over 8 days. I answered his question regarding our home ownership explaining that I am the home owner, but my home is in a Trust and will remain that way. Without any other questions we were turned down and told that we are not a good fit for Sherlock, but no explanation as to why. He said we can try to apply for a different dog. WHAT? No thank you! How rude! I am so deeply crushed. I just wanted to meet him. I will never use this agency. Max Fund and plenty of others, are far more reasonable and easier to communicate with and meet the animals in need. Adopters be warned.

A reason for caution ?…read more About 6 months ago I paid a deposit of $500.00 to "Rocky Mountain Bernedoodles" for a Bernedoodle puppy. I was told I was put on a master list and wait time could be lengthy. I spoke to the owner Tammie personally and she would not provide any further details regarding how many people were on the wait list and what my number in the queue was. She told me to contact her periodically, but I'm not sure for what, if the wait list wasn't given to the clients. I found the lack of clarity a bit strange but I did not pursue the issue further. In June of 2021, I contacted Tammie wondering if I could stop by for a quick visit to see the facilities and some puppies. She initially said no problem and asked me to provide some preferred dates, which I did. Over the next several months she came up with several excuses why I could not come by for a visit. This is when I started to get nervous. During our last email conversation, she said I could not visit until end of August/September, when she would be back on her premises in Montrose. I could be mistaken, but I get the impression she lives outside of Colorado for months at a time. Every time I have been in contact with her, she has been in Alabama. She told me her son manages the facilities in her absence. When looking over the website "Rocky Mountain Bernedoodles" I definitely get the impression it welcomes any potential future puppy purchaser to visit anytime and also that Tammie is the owner/person in charge who runs the operations at the facilities in Montrose. Personally, I would like to see, when you pay a $500.00 deposit and several thousands of dollars in purchase price for your puppy, that there is full transparency regarding the wait list and who is in charge physically at the facilities. In my opinion, there is a disconnect between what is advertised on the website and my own personal experience with the breeder. During this same time, I had a conversation with a previous client of the breeder who had a most unfortunate experience with the breeder and a puppy purchse. Naturally that made me quite uncomfortable. Not being able to visit the facilities during the entire summer, the lack of transparency regarding the waitlist and the owner apparently living out of state frequently, were too many red flags for me and I requested a refund of my $500.00 deposit. Tammie accepted my request and for this I am grateful. It may very well be that "Rocky Mountain Bernedoodles" is a first class, very well operated Bernedoodle breeder, however I wasn't comfortable moving forward and decided to proceed in a different direction.

You should be careful what you say because she can sue for defamation of character and slander. Next, If you're spending $1500 on a puppy, which is normal for this breed, why don't you get it checked out by a vet before hand. Just like you would a car at a mechanic before you bought it. Also, this breed is known for hip dysplacia and elbow issues. Research the breed before buying any dog, people! Giardia can be gotten anywhere from water. Not necessarily from her water. We have it in our well and don't drink the water or give it to our dogs. Test your water before blaming someone else for what you personally have done. Also, I believe it can be cured by antibiotics, so it's not that big a deal. RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH! If you can't handle the breed then don't buy the breed and blame the breeder. This is your fault only because you made a commitment to an animal that you can't handle. So suck it up and don't blame the breeders unless you are a vet and you know what you are talking about.
