Trey & his entire staff treated me like family and answered all 30 of my firearm questions. Moving forward this will be the only firearm location in FL that I do business with. Aside from Trey giving me a surgical breakdown of the Colt 6933 (M4 Carbine) and a suppressor attachment (for my Glock 19), I was also given a variety of payment options to to make my purchase. I can honestly say that the overall inventory was more diverse here than most military armories I've seen in 8 years. Every accessory (scopes, extended magazines, pouches, insignias, PPE, etc) is on fully display and readily available. The prices are reasonable based on the fact that many items you see in store are either sold out online or unavailable due to Covid 19. As a USC grad student & as a Navy veteran, I definitely understand the value of investing in yourself. This location makes me proud to be an American and an advocate of the 2nd amendment. Trey & the entire staff are real patriots and love this amazing country. They give you their undivided attention and ensure you have all the facts. Check them out!

I've dealt with Pompano Pawn on multiple occasions over the past few years. I've never pawned…read moreanything with them so I can't speak to that process or experience. What I've used them for was to facilitate the required documentation and background check for weapon transfers that I had purchased online. Yes contrary to what Michael Bloomberg and many people lead you to believe, you actually are required to go through the required background checks for weapons purchased online. They charge a fee of $35.00 to handle the paperwork. The process has always been quick and easy in my case. The one thing that I like about doing that here is that they don't make you feel guilty for not purchasing a weapon from them. I've been made to feel guilty from other dealers when I've made purchases online. I've found the prices to be lower here compared to nearby dealers. They also have a good selection of weapons and accessories. I always purchase my holsters and ammo here when completing the weapons transfer. The only issue that I've had is that when I ask for a single box of ammo I usually get, "So you'd like three boxes right?" No I would just like one. "Are you sure?" Yes I'm positive. I'm a sales guy myself so I know that nothing feels better than closing a deal and upselling as well. I get it. I've been happy with the treatment and help that I've received during each visit here. This is a great family owned and operated business. If you purchase a weapon online, you can feel comfortable having it sent here to complete the transfer. Thanks Keith, Kim and Wayne for your help over the years.

To start off the place was dark, dank and although the employee/manager/whatever was nice which is the only positive just for the moment. So, I needed 2 stalls for my father and I, we proceeded to fill out proper sign in info then was granted range access, after entering the what was supposed to be climate controlled indoor range, IT TURN OUT TO BE A HUMID STEAM ROOM!! We plinked around 40 rounds and that was it, we were DONE! I exited the range room and proceeded to ask the "only" employee for the manager for which she stated was herself,,,, OK, what is going on with the climate controlled air conditioning and ventilation??? she said it's been broken for about a month!!! REALLY!!!??? And didn't specify that to us before taking our info and monies!!! We were literally pouring in sweat and insisted a refund and we'll be on our way, she replied NO! Ok, I didn't want to argue with ignorance and lack of business savvy so we exited and we will Never look back. You can bet any "good" reviews on yelp were written and posted by people they know or maybe even themselves. Don't waste your time, it's a dump.
