Always the best Chinese food around Bolton and Nobleton! Reasonable prices and good quality.

It used to be a place with average service but good quality food and fair pricing. Now it is a complete and Uther failure. The food is no longer good. The prices have increased dramatically and the service has gotten next level bad. The latest time I took takeout will be my last. Theyve gotten so cheap that they cannot even use a proper lid for a takeout box for a baked rice as seen in the picture. This place is no longer redeemable and I would avoid it at all cost I've been burned one to many times on the food.

Unfortunately one item was misunderstood and we received something different but it was still good. We ordered the beef with flat rice noodles and the baked pork chop on rice but requested it with chicken. We ended up getting the half/half cream sauce/tomato sauce with chicken and pork. I think I confused her when I asked for chicken however it is on the menu as baked pork chop OR chicken. Maybe it's just not a common request. Anyways, it was still pretty good, the pork chop and chicken were both tender, the rice was slightly golden in colour, I do wish it was a bit more fried rice-like. There was lots of sauce and cheese. The cream sauce had a distinct coconut flavour which was a bit odd but not entirely unpleasant. The beef noodles were great, gigantic portion, steaming hot and plenty of wok hei. We ordered cold lemon tea for our drinks, cold drinks were $1 extra, but it was worthwhile. The tea was made to order and it was perfectly sweet, lemony and not at all bitter. Prices were really affordable which is part of the HK cafe appeal. I think for the two dishes plus the drinks it came out to less than $35 and we both had plenty of leftovers. Value is definitely there. Overall it's a good option for HK cafe food in Aurora. Most of these restaurants are opening in Newmarket so this is a good option closer to home. Personally I feel that there are better choices in Newmarket but for proximity/value/taste I will definitely order from here again. I'd like to try some other dishes as well, I see they have some Cantonese style dishes that look good!

To be honest, it is not perfect in many dimensions: It's not spacious and feels too greedy to have too many tables. It is not a good place if you really want to have an elegant environment to have your meals. The servers are a bit aggressive. But despite of all those disadvantages, I still give it 5 stars because it has the PERFECT food! I almost dropped some tears when I tasted my first bite of the dish I ordered, stored fried beef with tomatoes and eggs. I think what it does best is that it adapt its dishes to use the local produce and meat, and still keep the legit HongKong food flavors. My wife ordered the stir fried instant noodles and it was full of pepper, mushrooms and soy sauce flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant to have meal with friends or family (but not too many people since it's small and crowded. You can go to other coffee shop to chat

A large restaurant, strange design with booth seating down the middle of the floor plan essentially dividing the restaurant in half. Noticed when I walked in, almost every table had the roast duck dish, large families had the whole roast duck, smaller families had the half portion. Dishes ordered- whole roast duck, beef ong choy (water spinach), clam mushroom veg, chicken gravy crispy noodles. Ali dishes large and plentiful Roast duck dish came out first, expertly carved like a surgeon on a cadaver (yeah, bad analogy, my apologies). Each succulent piece resting in a flavorful sauce of duck juice, grease, oil and I don't know what, it was just good. Protip, dip the duck in the accompanied sweet sauce to cut the greasiness of the duck. The clam mushroom veg dish was good, not sure if describing this dish as a veg dish is accurate. I recognized the green peas pods, however there were slices of a green melon type veg which was delicious. My very Cantonese friend ordered this dish, I neglected to ask for the proper name as I was too busy stuffing my mouth. The beef ong choy (water spinach) in fermented bean curd was ok, nothing special. However, beef was decent, not over tenderized. The chicken gravy crispy noodle dish was excellent, plenty of crispy noodles with tasteful gravy and chicken bits. Gotta have my carbs. Topped off with a free sago green bean dessert. Star of the show was the roast duck, a must try for poultry loving aficionados. So much food,, we had plenty of leftovers to take home.

The snow pea leaf w/ king mushroom was also being had at multiple tables, so we ordered it as well and it made sense why everyone was ordering it. So good. The staff here are plentiful and very efficient. The restaurant is a bit run down (the bench seating has seen better days) but the focus is the food and not so much the ambiance.
