Pablo happy with his favorite vet tech

I cannot say how grateful I am to Dr. Singer and all of his vet techs at Noble. I've been there with my Frenchie Pablo three times in the last couple of weeks and even tho my baby has been sick Dr. Singer has not only been very informative but has given me options for treatments and a HUGE peace of mind. They see me on same day basis and have always been very kind. Thank you

I am so glad I was referred to this place. My cat was in a cat fight and had been bitten on his leg. I was desperate to have his leg checked out and treated ASAP. I was accepted as a walk in and it was surprising how quickly, my cat was seen by the vet. The most surprising was the cost was very reasonable and affordable. The staff is friendly and very competent. I will return to this place for further care.

    Harry after todays visit
    Shad R.

This is my favorite and most honest veterinary clinic. I live in San Francisco and I would not trust anyone with my animals except Dr Singer and his lovely staff . Harry had been vomiting non stop for 24 hours so I took him to SFSPCA because this is where we had rescued Harry just 3 months ago , they did a quick triage and said "he has a blockage and needs to been since right away . We don't have room , so here is a list of hospitals near you , hope you have pet insurance " . I called all the local hospitals and same response we are booked can't help and some just never returned my call . I decided to see if hopefully I could wait 24 more hours and see if I could go to Nobel Vet clinic early Monday morning . I sent the email to the contact on the website and I immediately received an email stating you can bring Harry in anytime after 8 am and we will make it work . I was so happy , Dr singer said he would have time for the surgery. I left Harry knowing he was in great heads , and about an hour later I received a call from Dr Singer stating he did not need to perform the surgery , because during the pre op procedures Harry was able to vomit out the obstruction. Dr singer was so honest and was truly happy that Harry didn't need the surgery . Thank you Nobel Vet Clinic , please call Nobel vet clinic before you go anywhere for your urgent care needs they are so honest and truly love what they do .

Thanks to the Doctor and amazing staff at Noble Vet Urgent Care. We found this kitten abandoned and in a very bad shape. The compassion and kindness of the staff was just outstanding. Thank you so much !!!! Mateo was very caring and went out of his way to make sure we had all our questions answered ‍

Had a great experience every time. I live in Fremont and come to Hayward because I trust this Vet. I know my dog is in good hands. Staff is nice and I have no complaints. Been coming to this Vet for over 10 years.

Gentle care made time for us the same day, I came late because my tom tom wanted to eat and use the bathroom but they didn't mention a thing. The doctor and vet tech that helped me were so sweet and warm. They let me spend as much time with him as I needed before and tom tom was not stressed at all, they allowed him to stay on me the entire time and pass in my arms. I received his ashes, paw print and a card. I am happy to bring tom tom back home. Thank you again.

The day before visiting Gentle Care, Maple was seen at VEG Emergency Vet, where I paid $1,200 for her initial assessment. The ER vet advised that Maple would need one final X-ray the next morning to determine whether surgery was necessary, as she had already vomited and passed pieces of the towel she ingested. Their recommendation was clear, so I brought Maple to Gentle Care on December 10th expecting a simple follow-up and the final imaging. Instead, I encountered inconsistent communication, unclear diagnostic decisions, and fluctuating pricing that made an already stressful situation even harder--especially because I and my family were actively trying to pull together the funds for whatever treatment Maple might need. Accurate, stable estimates were essential so I could understand how to move forward and how my family could help cover the cost of her care. On December 10th, I arrived at 9:30 AM:     *    I was quoted $820 verbally for a full day of diagnostics, including an ultrasound and contrast X-rays.     *    I received no updates until I called at 3:00 PM and was told there was no information yet.     *    When I called again to confirm the cost, the total had increased to $1,100--a $280 increase I did not approve, with no added services beyond the original plan.     *    At pickup, instead of receiving the final X-ray the ER vet recommended, I was told I had to return the next morning before Dr. Yoon could determine whether surgery was necessary. This required me to call out of work at the last minute, which was stressful and disruptive. On December 11th, I returned for the final X-ray (provided at no charge) and paid an additional $360 for blood work and fluids.     *    After reviewing the images, Dr. Yoon presented two possible surgical options--endoscopic removal or direct surgery--but did not provide guidance on which option was best for Maple's condition.     *    I was given a verbal surgery estimate of $4,000.     *    When I asked for a written estimate so I could secure pre-approval from my pet insurance (PetsBest) and request a CareCredit limit increase, the printed estimate suddenly increased to $5,000, without any explanation. * Dr. Yoon also said the surgery could wait another day and that I would have to drive Maple to Danville to the other vets office he works with. The quote I received was from that hospital and not Gentle Care.     *    Dr. Yoon also told me he would only accept my insurance if I could get pre-approval on that estimate, which was not possible. All of this was incredibly difficult to navigate. My family and I were trying everything we could to ensure Maple received the care she needed--we were gathering funds, adjusting schedules, and making decisions in real time. The constant price changes and lack of clear direction made it feel nearly impossible to plan responsibly for her treatment. For context, before even arriving at Gentle Care, I had paid $1,200 at VEG ER. At Gentle Care, I then paid $1,100 on December 10th and another $360 on December 11th. Maple's care was never something I hesitated to pursue; we were simply trying to understand what the actual cost would be so we could pay for it. Given the ER vet's recommendation that Maple only needed a final X-ray--and considering she had already vomited and passed parts of the towel--I now seriously question whether an entire additional day of diagnostics was necessary. Ultimately, I took Maple to Noble Vet, where she received clear recommendations and had her foreign body surgery performed for $3,090.65. My family helped me cover the cost, and the experience there was transparent, supportive, and professional--everything I hoped for from the start. I believe the diagnostics performed at Gentle Care were excessive, delayed Maple's needed surgery, and resulted in inflated and inconsistent charges. I hope the clinic reviews the communication and pricing issues from December 10th and 11th so other pet owners don't face the same confusion during a medical emergency. UPDATE: We unfortunately had to put Maple to sleep on Dec. 14th after she became septic. After speaking with the vet at Noble Vet and VEG in San Ramon I believe the delay in surgery resulted in a more complex and risky surgery. I will be looking for another veterinarian for the remainder of my pets.

Dr. Harper is very professional, personable, honest, transparent, and communicative. Finding a trustworthy vet for a rabbit is not easy, and requires lots of research to find the right one. That being said, I really do trust Dr. Harper and his vet team. Today I brought my rabbit in for X-rays because I was concerned he may be arthritic. This examination isn't as straightforward as it would be for a dog or cat, and it involves sedation. Upon arrival, the nurse, Sav, walked me through all my questions upon drop off. I was transparent about my worries around sedation, and she was very honest based on her extensive anesthesiology expertise and experience-- not hiding the fact that there is indeed risk involved because he's a rabbit. Because we determined there's an alternative path from xray + sedation, we then decided to change my appointment type and just try out anti inflammatory medication (instead of jumping right into an xray). The conversation alone with Sav was incredibly helpful and insightful; she helped me make a more informed decision on what services I felt to be most appropriate for my bun and took her time going in-depth on explanations. I always come to my appointments with a bullet list of questions and each time, I really appreciate the doctor and nurses careful attention to answering them. They really take their time explaining everything, and I never feel pushed or coerced into anything I don't want for my rabbit. Again, the level of communication, patience, and transparency coupled with the teams expertise and experience really makes them stand out. I told them I would pick it up right away. They also gave her gabapentin for the pain but didn't tell me that I should have kept her inside because she would be drowsy. She almost got hit by a car because she was fumbling on the street. Long story short....my cat didn't get better so I took her to another clinic where she was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma. I was very disappointed with the service or lack thereof. FYI they sent me the lab results which they had received the day after but forgot to call me to let me know. I brought my rescue cat here…read morefor treatment of nose cancer, which they had already diagnosed as being present throughout his entire nose. Despite this, they completely ignored one side of his nose during treatment and committed multiple acts of severe professional negligence. 1. Failure to Follow Agreed Treatment Plan: I paid for and consulted on an aggressive, complete nose removal. The consulting veterinarian explicitly stated that the surgery "would be a waste" unless the entire nose was removed because leaving any cancer behind would cause it to return aggressively. Instead, a general practice surgeon--whom I was never permitted to speak with--made a unilateral mid-surgery decision to perform a minimal "scrape," leaving 2/3 of the tumor and visible cancerous bulbs intact. 2. Complete Violation of Informed Consent: If the surgeon did not feel capable or comfortable performing the agreed-upon nose removal once my cat was sedated, they had a strict medical and ethical obligation to call me from the operating room. By failing to contact me, they denied me my legal right to decline a substandard procedure, wake my cat up, and immediately transfer him to a qualified veterinary oncologist or specialist who could perform the surgery correctly. 3. Total Lack of Post-Operative Communication: When I picked up my cat after major surgery, the clinic provided absolutely zero communication or discharge instructions. I had to discover via text message that they failed to complete the agreed-upon service. They then falsely claimed the cancer was only on one side, directly contradicting their own previous diagnosis and what was clearly visible. Because of their failure to remove the tumor as promised, the cancer returned with extreme aggression. I had to euthanize my cat because this clinic robbed him of his only opportunity to receive a proper, complete surgery from a qualified professional. I have the full text message logs, emails, and images confirming this timeline. A formal complaint regarding this professional negligence and failure to obtain informed consent is being filed directly with the State Veterinary Board. Do not trust them with your animal's life. Response to owner : There is a fundamental difference between a "medically complex" adjustment and a complete change in surgical scope without owner consent. The explicit, documented purpose of Tom Tom's consultation was a complete nose removal. I was explicitly told by your staff that a partial removal or "minimal scrape" would not be effective given the aggressive nature of his cancer. Yet, while he was sedated, Dr. Eileen made the unilateral decision to pivot to a minimal scrape, leaving active cancerous bulbs behind, without ever calling me to get my informed consent. By failing to call me from the operating room, you denied me my legal right as a client to decline a sub-standard procedure. Had I been contacted, I would have immediately instructed the clinic to wake him up so I could transfer him to a qualified veterinary oncologist or specialist who was capable of performing the agreed-upon surgery. Furthermore, your clinic attempted to retain 100% of the funds for a complete nose removal until I forced accountability through a series of extensive emails. Your own text message records confirm that the surgeon only focused on one side of the nose, directly contradicting the agreed-upon treatment plan. This is a clear issue of professional negligence and a failure to obtain informed consent, not a misunderstanding of "expectations." I will not be having further private discussions with management to help cover up this clinic's lack of informed consent. The time for discussion was when Tom Tom was on the operating table. All further correspondence from me will be handled directly through the formal complaint I am filing with the State Veterinary Board.

However, my big boy Chomper is 12+, and last January I noticed he was really struggling to do normal things. I changed his routine and started hand-making his food, and he instantly got better. But having had another dog who was the same mixed breed and who showed the same signs towards the end of life, I knew Chomper's time was limited. Then last week he had a bad morning, and seeing he was in pain, I relented and called Groveway hoping that they'd just prescribe him some medication for pain management. I was able to bring him in that same day, and of course the first thing he does is urinate all over their waiting room floor like he had never whizzed in his life (and I JUST let him relieve himself outside beforehand). I apologized and offered to clean it up, but the receiption staff and another staff member quickly began to clean it up without hesitation and reassured me that it was ok. We entered into the examination room, and from the very beginning vet tech Stella was kind, polite and asked poignant quesitons. Soon after Dr. Powell came in, and she was equally kind, polite and wanting to help my boy. Dr. Powell was wonderful - she was compassionate and at the same time willing to have the difficult conversations. We decided on bloodwork that would take about 30 mins or so. Needing a urine sample, Stella escorted us outside to the back area with room to roam and a bench to sit at. After getting the sample, Stella made every effort to make sure my boy was comfortable - she invited us to stay in the backyard to enjoy the fresh air and sun, she brought out a blanket for Chompet to lie on, and she brought both of us water as well. Needless to say, after my last experience with Groveway, I was hesitant to contact them thinking that they might somehow try to hustle me again. I am so glad that I called them. The staff there were nothing but professional and courteous. Stella was accommodating and loved on my boy like he was her own dog. And Dr. Powell's compassion and willingness to help was nothing short of amazing. We didn't get the results we wanted, and that's just part of a dog getting old.
