The staff at the visitor center of the Snug Harbor Cultural Center told us about this museum and that it was free. We were spending the day in Staten Island and wanted to see as many sites we could. I am not a huge museum or art lover but I can appreciate great work when I see it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This museum focused on a lot of ships and people working and living waterfront. There were some great pieces throughout all three floors. The museum was very clean and the wooden floors shined so well I felt a little guilty walking on them. The pieces that stood out to me was the houseboat studio that showed you the actual living quarters of the seamen. The sleeping area and bathroom was so tiny. I also enjoyed the ship model gallery that featured ship models from around the world. You could spend hours in the museum looking and reading about the history. The museum represented a lot of the older furniture that still looked well maintained. This is definitely a place to check out if you're in the area or to make a trip out to visit. The staff were friendly and available if you had any questions. .

We came here to see " Sue" the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The last day she was going to be in the exhibit was on Memorial Day. It was sweet to see families and all different kids go through this exhibit with awe and amazement. Our lil guy is in his dinosaur phase and was in love all around. Liberty Science Center was a good space to explore. We didn't have enough time to spend here, however we will return. The space was clean, employees were respectful and kind, and there are plenty of opportunities for anyone to check out different floors of interests. The only con is paying some parts to check out rather than an overall included ticket. Plenty of space to park; Will return soon!

We came at 3:30 (5pm close) on a Saturday and expected it to be less busy. It was PACKED. A sea of strollers and kids and parents. Going up and down in the elevators was a nightmare. Besides the number of people, the exhibits themselves were pretty cool. Mostly for kids aged 4+ but they did have a toddler area named the Wobbly Room which was pretty fun. $64 for two adults, kids under 2 free. A season pass for 2 adults and up to 4 kids was $250 and seems worthwhile if you come at least a few times a year. We definitely need to come back (not on a Saturday?) and do more exploring. We totally missed the planetarium!

I prefer the Coldplayum of Pizza. But that doesn't exist, so…read more It's not really a great museum and more like a life-sized model of what it would be like to walk around on a pizza slice or something. I mean they made a good effort and it's quite an original idea but at the same time I can see why people want their money back, rate it badly and such, and it's not exactly cheap. 3 stars only for originality but they should do a lot more - like having pizza samples!

Ehh... Initially me…read moreand some friends were super excited to come because we love pizza. We happened to walk past on our way to dinner at Westlight. First of all $35 bucks is way too much to spend for this place. Even $30 is too much. We happened to snag a $5 off our ticket . You could also get a group on for $31 bucks. I think $20 would have been a better price. This museum of pizza is located at the bottom of the William Vale Hotel - at the corner. It is open until November 18th 2018 only So this is not a big " museum" . You can be there 30-60 mins tops. There are like 8 ish rooms.... most of them are ehhhh... there is " art" as in paintings , sculptures etc - some of it boring and uneventful... especially for the price Some of it is cool... loved looking at all the different pizza boxes from different pizzerias... loved the pizza guitar and the painting of the nude girl eating pizza on the bed. Loved the glow in the dark room... good photo op. We also loved the photo booth in the back of the DiGiorno room. I liked the last supper and Adam and Eve banners also You can get some popcorn to watch 3 short films And you get a slice of pizza at the end . It was hot and good to me . Water was offered . Surprisingly no bathrooms inside- you would have to go to the William Vale lobby to use the bathroom It would have been way more disappointing if this was the only thing we did ... thank god we made a day of it and also went to Brooklyn Bowl.

So it really pulls you into this sort of portal where you're fully locked in on games and then you look up and its been 3 hours, love it. Drinks are fine but they are a great price. Absolutely LOVE the music here, both live and regular music through the speakers once the live shows are done. I was a regular at Wonderville for about two years and genuinely loved the place. Without any prior…read morewarning or conversation, I was suddenly told I was 86'd "for life." I had to email afterward just to learn that my "behavior and demeanor" had supposedly made people uncomfortable. What makes this especially ridiculous is that the same month I was banned, I had brought my mom here for Mother's Day. Over the years, I also brought my brother, my partner, and several close friends. This was a place I genuinely enjoyed sharing with people. For context, I was not harassing people. I was a social regular who enjoyed friendly conversations, and if I approached or acknowledged someone who didn't want to interact, I respected that and gave them space. I am a human being, not furniture. If staff wanted me to change something about my behavior, they could have simply told me. I would have listened and adjusted. I also have concerns about whether my race, sex, and height affected how I was perceived and treated. After months of follow-ups, management confirmed that I'm still not permitted on site. Great concept, but the way this was handled showed a serious lack of communication and people skills. One star. In a public response to my Google review, Wonderville alleged that I followed people around, made "unwanted advances," and engaged in "predatory behavior." I categorically dispute these allegations. I did not follow people around the venue. It's a small arcade bar where people naturally cross paths repeatedly. That isn't the same as following someone. More importantly, Wonderville claimed it had already explained these allegations to me privately. That is contradicted by the original emails I still have, which only mentioned my "behavior and demeanor" making people uncomfortable. They spent months telling me to reflect without ever disclosing these more serious accusations. I only learned about them through their public Google response. Presenting disputed reports as established behavior is serious. If someone claims another customer is following them, does Wonderville simply ban that person without investigating or giving them a chance to respond? That's troubling for anyone who visits this bar. Given that these accusations only appeared publicly after I criticized how this was handled, it comes across to me as lashing out. Just a very hostile space. Be careful getting too comfortable around certain staff and regulars. In my experience, what you consider a friendly social interaction might later be characterized as predatory behavior without anyone addressing it with you directly. After everything that has transpired, I'm glad I never have to set foot in Wonderville again.

The gardens are beautiful - filled with a diverse variety of plants from all over the world. Last weekend the weather was perfect - not too hot or humid. The park had a decent crowd but not overcrowded. Also, there was security staff scattered throughout the park. There were vendors selling items. I spoke to a few people and learned they have some excellent food vendors as well as events there. Additionally, the Chinese Scholars Garden was open but they wanted 5$ admission for one adult. It was the end of the day so I decided to skip it. I've been there many times over the years and always found it a relaxing place to visit. There's a gorgeous vine-covered passageway and colorful Monarch butterflies to be discovered along the way. Highly recommend.
