La Fontana Springs, sits on about 10 acres, there is a chapel in the front. Two wedding ceremony areas in the back. And a reception hall in between. The hall has a bridal suite and a groom room. A full bar, and a kitchen. They had plenty of food to sample for the open house. There is also an outdoor patio area to enjoy as well. The staff are super friendly and always helpful. There is something beautiful in simplistic perfection. I feel that is a wonderful description of the chapel and reception hall. The chapel is cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. It draws everyone into the ceremony, which is a wonderful thing. Everyone wants to feel like they are a part. It's always a big thing for parents to part, in a sense, with their daughter, and watch as she begins a new life with her spouse. It was a beautiful setting in which to do that. I love that they keep the tour group small, so it was my husband & I & another group of 4. Everyone was cool & respectful of each other's space while investigating. We did get some good answers with the Dowsing Rods. We have videos & pics we still need to go through. But overall the host were awesome. We will be planning another visit without the tour part soon. we didn't have time to checkout the Milk House & more of the house. Curious Twins did a great job telling the history. They didn't rush us, they were very nice. Overall, had a fun experience!

Hello I am leaving the rating of very dissatisfied for a few different reasons. One I was…read moredisappointed that there weren't better instructions on where to check-in for dinner and other events. I was also very disappointed in the dinner that was provided for the VIP event. I was under the impression that it was going to be a nice sit down dinner, and for the VIP dinner we paid 298.00 for two people to have to stand in a line (that took us a while to find) to get a plastic container with a chicken salad sandwich and a bag of chips (oh and we also got one cookie). Also Beer was free, but you had to pay $2.00 for a very small cup of pink lemonade. We were also supposed to attend a seance, and it ended up being a medium speak about a couple of people on the other side that had lung problems. Once that was done we were able to go walk around the house for a short amount of time and then get sent home. We also two shirts (which they didn't have one of our sizes), and two baseball type hats. Once in the house we noticed that the house was very dirty, and there are many spots where I feel that someone is going to get hurt or sick from being in the house. There are spots in the floor were someone is going to fall through, there is a lot of mold due to lots of water damage. We also didn't feel like the outside was sanitary either. Not far from where they were cooking there were chickens and roosters running around. The bathrooms in the milking barn were In Shambles the ceiling looking like it was about to cave in, and the bathrooms all smelled like poop. In total we paid $324.00 to listen to people promote their books, and just tell a couple of stories. If feel this experience was very overpriced for what you got, and possibly a risk to our health being exposed to so much dust, dirt, and mold. I would not recommend going to this event, and I feel that the fire department needs to go check out the entire place for fire hazards and possibly injury to those that visit there. As a matter of fact I am probably going to make a call to the local fire department, and I also feel that the animals need to be checked due to the conditions that they are living in. My family and I will not be attending another event to this place again, and I suggest that you don't take your family there either!
