I am writing this after more than a week of trying to resolve a very basic issue: getting a replacement debit card. The situation began when the credit union's fraud department called me at approximately 9:00 PM. During that call, I asked the representative to repeat information they had just given me. Instead of clarifying, they closed my card entirely. What followed was over a week of contradictory information, unreturned promises of call backs, and repeated claims that they were "leaving me voicemails." I do not have voicemail. I confirmed my phone number multiple times, and I explained repeatedly that voicemail is not available on my line. This fact never seemed to register. Throughout multiple calls, representatives frequently failed to respond to what I had just said. For example, after explaining that I was over 2,000 miles away from the nearest branch and could not appear in person, I was immediately asked whether I could visit a branch anyway. This happened more than once, often within the same conversation. At one point, I asked a representative to repeat a single number back to me ("7") simply to confirm they were listening. They did not, and instead told me I needed to be "nicer." This was after days of being locked out of my own account. There are also long-standing issues with basic account maintenance. I have been trying to update my address since 2021 and have filled out the required forms multiple times. I was told this issue was caused by a "new computer system" implemented on August 4, 2025, which does not explain why the problem predates that system by years. My debit card was shut off while I was out celebrating my wife's birthday, leaving her to cover expenses. I also rely on this card to purchase medication, which made the delay more than an inconvenience. I am not reviewing this lightly. This credit union used to be reliable, but my recent experience shows severe breakdowns in communication, follow-through, and basic customer service. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend banking here and strongly suggest others proceed with caution. read more

I've been a member for several years I've had 2 car loans and a personal loan which was paid off early, I received a delinquent letter for $.02 on the paid off personal loan. Then received another letter that they took the 2 cents out of the account. It cost them $20 for paper, ink, envelopes, and postage just to get 2 cents. I emailed the department with no response and when I called she was rude and when I requested a manager I got the "Oh she's busy and will return your call" will no retuned call. This Credit Union never disappoints as an absolute disaster. In the past 3 years, I've run into the craziest "fraud" alert issues that can't appear to be resolved by anyone in the country, and in no reasonable time frame. Tonight, my card was declined 3 times while trying to pay for AAA while stranded on the side of the road because it was suspected fraud. However, I admittedly blew $160 at Cost Plus last week and that somehow didn't flag even though I never have shopped there previously. Trying to clear it up with the "agent" from another country was extra fun. read more

My Mother-in-law was a victim of fraud, including fraudulent activity on her Noble account. She went into the branch and they wouldn't help her file a complaint at the branch. She is elderly and they told her she needs to call instead. They did give her a new debit card and destroyed the old one. She needed the number from the destroyed card to be able to get into the phone system to file a complaint-- why wouldn't the supervisor at the bank know that! read more

I've been with this credit union for over 30 years. I am disappointed and shocked how some of the tellers are allowed to show up to work and a nice banking workplace. On October 3, 2024, at the airport branch, a teller who helped me had on two acne patches on her face, the kind of clear dots you sleep with, and her hair appeared as if she got out of bed and quickly put her hair up in a loose bun on top of her head. She appeared sloppy and unkempt. She did her job well, but I left the credit union feeling that this institution does nor care about their image nor do they instill professional appearance for their employees. Today March 31, 2025. I went to Noble Credit Union at the airport branch drive up window. One of my regular routine to withdraw some cash. Teller Operator No: 113, asked me what I would like to do. I reply, I wanted to withdraw a 1000.00 and started to let her know how I would like that cash. So I said, I would like 200.00 in tens. She didn't let me finish what I was going to ask for and had told me, you have to come inside for that. I only wanted 200.00 in tens and the rest in hundreds. I don't know if that was so hard for a drive up window operator. I use the drive up window most of the time and never had gotten this kind of treatment. I don't know if this is an assumption or discrimination. Which I have already endured so much discrimination in my lifetime. This is year 2025 and this kind of things are still happening. Two years after my last review of Noble Credit Union and their service is as bad as ever. I'm the primary member on our joint account as I'm the one who worked for Fresno County for 35 years. When I got married a few years back I added my wife to my Loyalty Rewards Visa and other credit union accounts. Today she needed a replacement for her Visa card that had become damaged. Not only was I not allowed to order her a replacement card; she was asked security questions that only I knew the answer. In our family division of labor, I'm the one who handles our bills and banking while she's the one who deals with insurance matters, etc. Speaking with a supervisor was equally useless. As much as I hate to take the time to change my retirement and Social Security direct deposits and all the other automatic payments we currently have with Noble; I'm afraid it's time to cut the cord and move to another Credit Union or Bank. read more

All for trying to make my wife's car payment and them refusing to let me do so. I've never heard of any bank refusing money for a payment, The manager Richard Daw is very unprofessional and should be embarrassed/ashamed of himself for the way he treated me he is a racist and a rude individual noble bank should be ashamed of themselves for having such individual as a employee, and not just any employee a manager he should know how to carry himself and how to have good customer service skills, being in that type of position he screamed at me, was aggressive, rude and tried to belittle me he should be reprimanded for his actions he was so loud and did not care that their were other customers and employees around if this is the way you guys treat your paying customers I would never recommend you to anyone you should be embarrassed. I came to Noble Credit Union on 12/03/20 as my debit card was no where to be found :( mind you at least once or twice a year I lose a card or I think it's stolen so who knows it's no where to be found. Anywho I don't like taking pictures of banks at least inside as I think it shows the layout of banks and I don't want to be apart of any shady business. Any who, I called immediately and I was informed that it is faster to just come down to Noble to get a new card as they can print one out same day. Nice! So the next day I came down during my lunch break to get a new card. I have been a member of Noble since 2013 or 2014 and known their prior name change. I have always had good experiences here and they honestly have good perks too especially on car loans on your birthday or Christmas I forget which one but they allow you to skip a month on payment which I always opt out of as I just like to pay all my bills to get done faster. Anywho, the staff was friendly and they were wearing mask and had screens up which usually most banks did anyways prior to COVID. My helper was quick and I was in and out of Noble with my new card less than 10 minutes so I can't complain as I still had a good chunk of my lunch left. Happy camper here that I got my bank card back and business as usual. I highly recommend Noble they are straight forward and no hidden shenanigans like other mainstream banks! read more

I do not even know where to begin with Noble Credit Union. I have had 3 different auto loans through Noble Credit Union. I stayed with them because having my auto loan through them was convenient. Not ONCE since 2016 have I EVER had any issues with Noble, until recently. When COVID-19, a global pandemic, came to affect EVERYONE'S job, I made it very clear that my job had been affected and my hours became limited because of it, but I would still be able to make my payments within the month. First, they started harassing my place of work. When I specifically told them on multiple occasions not to contact there because it was risking my job. ESPECIALLY when they were not contacting my cell phone FIRST. Second, Stacy O and Riley Simms are probably one of the worst employees to talk to. Especially Stacy. I asked her multiple times why she sent me to collections and refused to tell me. And refuses to tell me what can be done to have my application approved for the auto loan. And hour later she emails me saying it was approved. Still no reason as to why it was sent to collections. And this lady tried sending me to collections for not making my car payment and saying I was late the full amount, which I was only late $20. And then she literally tried draining what I had in my savings. She also sent me to collections while I was still within the 10 grace period of my March payment. When I went back to Toyota, they told me all the RIDICULOUS stipulations as to what was required to approve my loan??? And then LIED saying that I was basically flagged fraudulent because I was late $20.00 and refused to let her take what was in my savings. I am SO glad to no longer be financing a vehicle through them and I will NEVER recommend ANYONE to this bank. They are rude and literally do not care about their customers. Do not open an account here. Do not try financing a vehicle through here. It takes a lot for me to basically blacklist a place. And Noble CU has been extremely blacklisted. I HIGHLY recommend Golden 1 and EECU as far as Credit Unions go. read more

I've been banking with Noble Credit Union for more than 30-years. I started when I was a Fresno County employee. I've banked with Wells Fargo and Bank of America. They are not in the same league as Noble. The people here are friendly, helpful and the service is excellent. I read a couple of the negative reviews because I was surprised there were any based on my experience. Someone said there "special rules" they kept encountering. Yes there are special rules anytime a credit institution is insured by the feds. If you don't want your lender to be protected by special rules go to a loan shark, they don't have special rules. And if you want a short wait time to engage with a teller instead of an ATM don't go at noon when it's crowded. If you're looking for a great place to bank with people who treat you respectfully, Noble CU is the place. read more

If you like banking to be super frustrating, then this Clovis branch is your place. The most simple of transactions can't be completed here due to a "special rule" they have about that. I've been a member of Noble Credit Union for over 35 years (joined when it was Fresno County Employees Federal Credit Union). I loved it for many years! However, over the last several years I've been not only disappointed, but also frustrated with it. Call wait times are very frustrating, tellers (for the most part) aren't really happy/friendly anymore, and as far as I can tell, there's no drive through teller option at the Clovis Ave branch. Perks/bonuses/discounts are much fewer, if any now. It's a shame it's changed so much.....I'm going to change to a different credit union....no more loyalty is warranted in my opinion, as they aren't loyal to the customer anymore. read more

SO disappointed!!!! I have been a member for over 10 years and can not believe this branch. Their new COVID-19 restrictions requires everyone to wait outside. I'm all about safety so I am open to this. However, the wait time it at least 15 minutes. HOW?!?! I have gone on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays and they clearly are in no hurry and do not care at all about the fact that their members are standing in the Fresno heat with masks on waiting 15 minutes. It's unbelievable!! Elderly people are standing outside melting away. How when we could wait inside, the wait times were so minimal but now it's at least 15 minutes? Warning: Do not waste your time with this bank because they will not invest their time in you. Make sure to read the reviews of others & you will see they have terrible ratings. Their website says they are "known as the Credit Union that truly cares about each and every member, as reflected in our member surveys... We treat members with kindness, dignity, and honor. We do the right thing by helping members make sound financial decisions." Unfortunately this could not be further from the truth. Whether it be investing, helping w/student loans or the various hurdles of life, most of us want a bank w/excellent customer service, is dependable, accessible, has low to no fees, great rates & understands our financial status to help us as we need it. If this is you, this bank is not for you. There are many other local & online banking options which would do more to help you than this bank ever can. My parents have also banked with this bank for more than 40years & my grandparents for more than 60 years. Any time credit, mortgages or auto loans were sought, this bank was no better and often w/worse rates than they were able to find elsewhere. I have been a member for over 20 years & honestly I only keep my account open to help transfer money to my parents account to help them as needed, but w/the advent of other more convenient modalities for transferring funds I will be definitely closing my account after they were not willing to help me out or even consider my circumstances & will encourage my parents and grandparents to do the same. I do not keep money in this bank because of their terrible rates & reports of accounts being frozen especially if traveling, or on weekends/holidays or after hours. Don't believe me just dial their # 559 252-5000 & immediately one of the first prompts you receive is what to do if your account is frozen. I recently used PayPal to make a payment not realizing it accidentally withdrew $30 from this bank where I do not have money kept so instead it used my overdraft account to make the payment. We recently moved and I had not yet updated my address with Fresno County Credit Union who then changed their name to Noble Credit Union. I was also locked out of my online access for reasons beyond me and tried to connect w/a live person on the phone but had a hard time due to me working a hectic work schedule. Finally i was able to make it into a branch and I found out that i was more than 30 days late on my $30 amount and was immediately reported to the credit bureau. I did my best to explain the circumstances but nobody wanted to hear anything other than, you were late and we reported it. They said their policy is if it is not their fault they will not help. I explained I had never been late w/any payment to them before in my 20+ years w/them and I have tons of student loans & assets that make $30 seem like nothing and it was an honest mistake mostly mine but not helped by them. I asked for some professional courtesy and understanding but they were very crude and unhelpful with everything and did not care that they were losing a 20+ year customer. read more

I've been trying to get a hold of someone on the phone for 3 days now for help with online banking (which is a nightmare to use). I opened my account and Kat gave me her business card, saying that I can email or call her if I need anything. Worst banking experience I've ever had. I have an auto loan and from day one I had issues just setting up my checking account. Couldn't use any mobile features for the first 90 days; they didn't mail me an ATM fee so I had to go in a branch each time to deposit money. I still can't transfer money from my other bank. Now I tried using the mobile app to deposit a check and it says I need to write my account number on the check (it declined my attempt). I don't have any mail from this loser bank so how am I to know what my account number is? Online it just shows the last numbers. So now, I'm forced to go to the branch again! This is one of the worst banks my husband and I have ever had to deal with. He's been a 20+ year long member and most recently, when he paid $40 on his credit card, he was told that it would take approximately 24 hours to post and it has now been nearly 2 weeks and the money still has not been posted to the card. Because of how many issues (there have been too many to count since he added me to his account 4 years ago) we have had with the bank, my husband has made the decision to finish paying off his card and close all of his accounts. This Branch is Great! The Manager there I have seen at almost everyother branch from time to time and he still remembers me. I have several accounts with FCFCU and I make split deposits within one visit each payday. I have had some mix ups in the past of how much and to which account and the bank has called me within the hour to let me know there has been a mistake and they took care of it. The Tellers there are so freindly. I wish they were open on Sat. though.. also until 6 during the week. All in all they are a Great Bank! read more

I pay my car payment on "auto" via my WFB account and have done so for over a year. Since their name change to Noble CU I assumed they would still receive my payment. I got a late notice and went to the Clovis branch and was told I was not the first person to be affected and there was a "coding error" when they made the name change. I asked to speak to a manager and my teller took the information and came back to say they would waive the late fee, and post the payment on the due day. I was instructed to go to Bill Pay on my account and type in Noble Credit Union and it would automatically populate . . . that did not happen. I entered the information manually (different mailing address, zip etc.) Just today I received my BillPay check from Wells Fargo back from Noble CU with a note saying they couldn't deposit my check (for the prior month). While they were accommodating in posting my payment at the teller's window and waiving the late fee, I don't understand how a name change should impact me . . . they should have the ability to continue accepting checks from customers at least for awhile. read more
