The sturdiness and beauty of the bricks. The many entrances. The cannon in the North endzone. The band intermingled in the student section. Ohio University has a beautiful campus and Peden Stadium is a great compliment. Again, I did mention my bias, the restrooms do have lots of room for improvement and the lines for the concession stand could be improved. I'm going to focus on the positive. There is not a bad seat in the house! Athens and the Bobcats know how to put on a show. Rufus coming leading the football team out on a Harley is a great bonus! As I believe in supporting local, I also believe in supporting small, supporting the little guy. If you have not been to an event at Peden Stadium splurge the $12 give or take a little and get there. You will have an amazing time. Remember, I warned you about the restrooms, and I'm holding out that someday they renovate them all!

Zanesville has a nice collection of interesting architecture downtown. Right off the highway is…read morethe library, and a block away is this unexpected (at least to me) concert venue. Sweetie and I came to see Pat Benatar, who put on a great show. The building is probably from the '50s and is in great shape. Not huge, probably a thousand or so seats? The seats are old-style theater seats, and were comfortable for the whole show. Laid out in the traditional theater style, with several sections downstairs and a small balcony. Entry and exit were pretty efficient and simple. Acoustics were great, lighting was effective. The ushers were super friendly and helpful. It looked like concessions and bathrooms were downstairs though we didn't use either. There's plenty of free parking, and street parking nearby too. It was easy to get out of the lot and back on the highway. We had a great experience, and I would definitely come to see another show here.

They did a good job manufacturing it and I like it a lot, despite having only been here twice and they were more than a decade apart. And the Wheeling Nailers play here. Bob Marley would be proud of the Wheeling Wailers. Oh wait. Well if you want to get nailed, maybe ask the Nailers. So this is an excellent sports team in a small city that deserves a sports team. They get plenty of support from the locals, and if you want to show local pride, come and check out a game and see grassroots sport in America. And it's pretty cheap too.

Told her that two courses on the online Journalism program has in person, can't make it to the in person courses, I'm miles away from the school. That means it's technically not online. Took classes that wasn't necessary for me because of her poor advising and poor degree planning. But they get mad at me for asking too many questions. For the love of God, don't contact Financial Aid, Bursars office, anything that involves money and question anything. They get a (what makes you think that?) attitude. Honestly, they kind of owe me for the poopy adviser that they assigned to me. All in all, they talk to you like you're stupid af. Had a professor that gotten me in trouble for plagiarism, but she wasn't nowhere to be found when I had a question to ask her... a week after I asked her, and the question was practically irrelevant and I had to find the answer on my own, she gotten me in trouble.

This is probably one of the prettiest campuses I have ever been to. There is always something…read moregoing on or a party to attend. Ask for all the life on Court St, it offers a variety of shops and good eats at a different range of prices. I don't go to school there so I don't really know how classes themselves are, but when it comes to everything else, the school is def a lively one. I'm sure fall and spring are some of the most beautiful times to walk around campus.

I was impressed with the basketball and pickleball court flooring, the condition of the equipment in the weight room, and the fact that they offer 18 lockers for daily use to those just popping in.
