During my visit I always look for things that I know others might like as presents, such as vintage glassware or goofy art sayings or just funny stuff that can't be found anywhere else. Now for some that will visit this place they will only see tossed away garbage or in other words "junk", and at first glance that is what you see. What others have thrown away, the sisters have recycled into pieces of art. Whether it be an old barbecue which is now a planter or old pots and pans which have become wind chimes. So many things to see, I could no take enough pictures of everything. Nothing go to waste. Inside, you will find more items less embellished, so if you like less crafty things the inside items might be for you. Please visit here with an open mind. This is not junk. I grabbed it and saw that it was heavily infested with bedbugs, and I took it to the clerk at the front, who then took it to the back, and stated that they discarded it. I told him that one bug was capable of ruining the whole store. Two weeks forward I returned, and today a comforter that looked exactly like the one that was thrown away. Was now hanging up without the plastic. Same color, same pattern. So examine it closely before you purchase it. Needless to say, thrifting is in my blood! I've visited this Goodwill location for years, even through its various different addresses. I'd have to say this latest renovation and choice of staff HAS to be the best yet! Most of the staff are approachable and helpful upon request. The layout of the store is far superior to what it has been in the past! The toy aisle will ALWAYS be a disaster, as it's the 'babysitting' aisle while the moms shop! THE electronics aisle/appliance aisle needs cameras.... ALWAYS empty packages on it! All-in-all, the quality of merchandise is becoming better and better with each trip. With the exception of the bathrooms, the esthetics of the store have improved 100%! Removing the 'boutique' section is also a BIG PLUS! no need to separate quality items if you remove the tattered, torn, stained dollar store buys from the racks, instead. My 11-month-old grew out of it, so I wanted to sell it and put the money toward clothes. While helping the associate put it together, she offered me $30 for it and told me I could head up to the front to get credit. I shopped for clothes within my budget, but when I went to check out, another associate told me they wouldn't take the swing after all. The first lady had conveniently "gone on break." Suddenly I was told the swing was "broken." That's strange, considering I never would've tried to sell something unsafe and when I checked, I saw them jam a pencil jamm into the swing, which absolutely wasn't there when I brought it in. So now I'm stuck with an item they damaged, no store credit, and wasted time. I take great care of everything I own, and I would never sell something in poor condition. Very disappointing experience.
