Dr. Kachko has been my naturopathic physician for five years. Aside from his very impressive knowledge, you'll not find a kinder, more devoted and genuinely caring doctor. He's helped me immeasurably throughout the years. It's not for nothing Dr, Kachko is beloved by his patients and so respected in his field (president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians). Some weeks ago, during my initial visit with Dr. Shapsis for a consultation, I decided right there and then I wanted him as my gastroenterologist. Impressed not only by his knowledge and acumen, I don't believe I've come across any medical doctor more thorough. Since that first visit, Dr. Shapsis has continued to demonstrate caring and genuine interest in helping me resolve my issues. On top of everything, because of those particular issues, Drs. Kachko and Shapsis confer with each other about my case, even occasionally meeting jointly with me. How's THAT for care and attention? Finally, you can count on a very personable, professional, responsive and efficient staff. The office itself is immaculate and comforting to visit. In short, five stars fall short!

He started the session with a comprehensive assessment of my medical background as well as the issue that brought me in. From the start I felt very comfortable speaking with Dr. Kachko; he was thorough, knowledgeable, and offered helpful suggestions for how to manage my migraines. Something I really appreciated was his transparency. He walked me through each step of the process and its case specific benefits for my migraine symptoms. This past July, I hurt myself during yoga (a result and mix of over-exercising/working out/pandemic stress) and I was referred to this practice. Before then, I had never injured myself physically and was experiencing - what I soon came to recognize - a high level of anxiety previously unknown to me. As someone who always felt extremely strong, both physically and mentally, I felt like a stranger in my own body. Dr. Niv (Zack) was my primary therapist and (while I wish I had never injured myself or had to learn what anxiety was) I consider it a major blessing that of all the PT's in the world, I somehow happened to find him. He is an expert, serious professional, and all around fantastic human being. I have never felt more safe, taken care, understood, or truly heard by a health care professional ever in my life. The care I received was always personalized and thoughtful. I always felt like he wanted to hear what was on my mind/concerns/etc. His understanding of the body and mind is incredible. My treatment always felt like an extremely educated and human approach. Something I (and everyone else) desperately needed. I could go on! While I am essentially recovered, I wish I could visit this practice every week. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Also noteworthy: The front desk staff are amazing - incredibly easy to make or change an appointment, assist with insurance/billing related questions or problems. The facility is clean & welcoming. As I recall the last time I was in there, roughly two weeks ago, all they had was an exercise bike, a treadmill, an arm bike, and a few ankle weights/therabands. The office space is very small, so unless they have plans to expand, I'm not sure where they would put all the other equipment necessary in a PT office. In PT, it's extremely important to have a variety of equipment, especially since many patients won't have access to certain things in their home, or in their gym. Prior to starting PT here, I wish I had known about the lack of necessary equipment, and how that would limit my ability to train and recover here. I came here to recover from my 3rd ACL injury and compared to other facilities, the training has been extremely limited and progress very slow due to lack of proper facilities. The therapists themselves are however, very kind and knowledgeable. It's a shame they are no longer in their old location. They do a lot of manual work on your injury which is certainly a plus.

Imagine how happy I was when I came to Evolution and got more than an hour (not a measly 25 minutes!) of pure doting: stretches, exercises, massage, and some great conversation. I continued coming though the full course of my recovery, and was never disappointed. Eva and Krista will stretch parts of you that you didn't know existed, and they'll teach you exercises you couldn't have made up yourself. They'll push you to be active without being too intense. They are attentive and really care about what they do. They're also really encouraging about each step of recovery (literally, in my case), which is crucial when you are having trouble moving/walking/functioning in any way. If you need physical therapy for any reason, I strongly recommend these guys. They're seriously the best!!

I am extremely disappointed in the care I received from Integrative PT of NYC. I really wanted to…read morelike it here after reading all of the great reviews, which is why I felt obligated to write this review after having such a poor experience here. My first appointment left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth, however, I decided to give them another chance as it was only the first appointment. I was taken late and released early which I did not appreciate. I was told the original appointment would be 1 hour and it took roughly 35 minutes. I saw LilliAnn for my first appointment and scheduled weekly follow up appointments with her. I confirmed with the receptionist in the office that going forward my appointments would be with LilliAnn. When I showed up for my second appointment I was also taken ~10 minutes late by a man who I had not previously met or worked with at all. He informed me that my appointment that day would be with Mackenzie, and that she wanted me to get started with a particular exercise. Not only had I never heard of or even been introduced to Mackenzie, I also had never done the exercise he was referencing. I questioned as to whether or not he had the right person as I was there for my appointment with LilliAnn. He informed me only then that LilliAnn was "double booked" and that Mackenzie would be working with me that day. I found it very unprofessional that I was not informed of this the second I checked in, or honestly, notified before I even arrived for my appointment. This was especially troubling as I had been there one week before and scheduled the appointment with LiliAnn. The man then went to grab Mackenzie who seemed very bothered that I was confused as to what was going on and asking questions. She then proceeded to ask me multiple questions that LilliAnn had asked and I had answered at my FIRST appointment a week prior. I finally asked Mackenzie if I should expect to answer these same questions at every appointment, because LilliAnn had asked me the same questions just the week before. Mackenzie was very aggressive, dismissive, and right out pissed off by my question informing me that she had read my chart. She then abruptly went to the back without warning, only to come back a few minutes later to continue with my session. I also found it unprofessional that LilliAnn was present and never came to tell me what was going on. She popped out for a second, saw I was with Mackenzie and quickly ran back into whatever room she came from. Even excluding the aforementioned disaster, I was not impressed by the care or "physical therapy" I received whatsoever. Mackenzie proceeded to give me 2-3 exercises at once, told me to complete 2 sets of 12 of each exercise and walked away. She was also working with another patient at the same time as me and instructing her to do exercises as well. More than half the time I was completing the exercises she instructed I complete, she was not even in the room. All this is to say that I would think twice before booking an appointment with Integrative PT of NYC. It is not worth the time or the headache. Don't say I didn't warn you!

I visited Tournesol Wellness for their Chakra Flow: Vibroacoustic Sound Therapy session. The Chakra Flow treatment is meant to "clear the seven major energy centers of the body. Each center is resonantly tuned, aligned, and optimized for highest functioning." Upon entering the center, it appears traditional. I felt as if I had almost stepped into a 19th century home and I say this as a compliment. The energy felt clear, perhaps because of the clean and formal set up of the space. I was welcomed by the desk staff and given a form to fill out, which I appreciated as it inquired about my state of being and quality of life - I assume to tune the session to my imbalances. I was quickly taken to the room with the vibroacoustic water filled mattress and the bed was lovely. It feels as if you are on a pool float on water. The gentle vibrations penetrate and expand through the water filled mattress. The vibrational frequencies are adjusted to your preferences and treatment. As I have said, this is all lovely, so why the four stars? Well, I have been excited about and interested in vibroacoustic therapy for a while and, as someone that is extremely sensitive to vibrational/sound therapy, I knew that this would be worthwhile. The reason for my docking of one star is because I wish that I had received more of an interaction, as many reviews have mentioned. I also wish that the person that took me in for my treatment discussed the therapy and my healing beyond the form that I filled out, and explained other treatments and how they could be beneficial. The interaction felt impersonal and I don't usually ask for a lot of interaction, but in a healing space, I think that it's important to hold space for others.

They do a thorough treatment at your first visit and I walked out of there feeling like a new person when I had originally walked in with 7/10 pain.
