Ray Hall Handyman Service - This is the level of quality and detail of Ray Hall

    Ray Hall Handyman Service

Ray Hall did some repairs to my home. One repair was the shower door magnet was missing. Instead…read moreof repairing it properly, Ray used Velcro to keep the door closed. What an idiot. I ordered the part online and installed it myself for a few bucks. Ray Hall is not a handyman he's a piece of work. Who uses Velcro on a shower door, Ray Hall does.

Ray Hall makes a great first impression. Says all the right stuff regarding how to do the job,…read morementions how he teaches piano lessons, and is generally a friendly guy. And he doesn't look like someone that'd rip you off. And he did a fine enough job painting the walls and ceiling for about five bedrooms, so I gave him the work of installing wood floors. The house was unfurnished, so no furniture to move around. And the house was empty, he'd have it all to himself for two whole weeks to finish the job before we moved in. He got all the floors in, but couldn't get the baseboards done before we moved in. So all the furniture was moved in, and then he had to install baseboards around the furniture. And I wouldn't be upset about missing the deadline if the floors and baseboards came out nice, but it's literally the worst job I've ever seen. He'd cut everything (floors, baseboards, trim, door moldings) too short, and then fill the gaps with wood glue, then paint over the wood glue. The guy has no shame about it. When I reviewed the job, he says he's a perfectionist. I'm still in shock that he'd do such sloppy work. He wasted my material, time, and money.
