The home owner will have to be the accountant with several phone calls from Glen, the GC, asking how much $ is left every few weeks- wanting the final draw BEFORE completion of work. Did not accurately draw up the discussed vaulted ceiling so paid extra $ due to incorrect blueprints; the "maintenance free" screened porch had numerous pine knot stains over every wall come through within 1 month of completion...which is ongoing maintenence! The interior windows were incorrectly installed in the wrong color causing delay for correct custom windows to arrive. Interior doors installed without door frames as well as drywall finish look hideous. Home owner had to fix door knobs. They promised a final cleaning which did not happen. GC referred to the home owners' wife as a b**** to other subcontractors. Communication so poor GC requested subcontractors to discuss matters with us, the home owners, as to smooth out tensions. Many of these subcontractors were wonderful, respectful and professional and clearly not connected to SkyBrynnes business tactics. Abruptly GC's wife "took over" in her words through email correspondence with a lecture on how "we as customers are to behave going forward." We noted at initial introductions of future construction plans in the home; so there was great potential of this company acquiring future work of a laundry room addition; a full bathroom and office space addition and 2 bathroom remodels. We have built 2 homes, hired many different contractors that we gave returning business for large jobs in 5 different homes and have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism.

To my knowledge, they never even went and looked at the roof. Just stoped communicating with me. I ended up having to pay someone to repair the damage (due to improper installation) 2 weeks later because I couldn't get anyone from Skye-Brynn to talk to me. Beware. They did a poor installation job and then refused to stand by their work when their poor installation resulted in a leaky roof.

Pricing was secondary. I also looked at reviews prior to my calls. Power Clean Pros was the only company that picked up when I called. They agreed to my timeline of an estimate ASAP! The others had machines and did return calls the next day. The company rep Cole was out within 30 minutes. He surveyed the walk and the area on the brick wall that had mold from a shed that previously sat there. The cost was much higher than I expected at $250, but a quick turnaround was desired. Two days later Cole came out with truck and trailer and went to work. He has all of his own equipment and just requested a water source. Within an hour or so the job was done and looked excellent. There were a few minor areas on the wall that I discussed with him. He was willing to come back. It was explained that pressure on brick is a fine line to not damage. He erred on the conservative side. The company does not take credit cards, so its cash, or check. I was not available when the job concluded and mailed a check. I would use them again and return.

About a year later, a tree branch kind of bang the gutters and that's when the problem all started. I had a bunch of water eventually dripping from my fascia board. Not cool! So I tried calling a couple of other companies and all they did was make this way worse! Enter south side gutters! Daniel came out and was a super cool dude. I really like them! We talked about gutter size, colors and the best way to fix this problem. Got my estimate, great price! No complaints so I said sure, come on by and replace my gutters! Less than a week later, Colin and another guy came out to pop up these gutters. It took them less than a day. These gutters look fantastic! No gutter guard needed because they're 6-inch gutters. That's right, 6-in gutters! Better price then you'll find for 5-in. And I'm telling you, it's totally worth it. Take it from experience, do not fall for these companies that tell you they'll just give you a bigger downspout with 5-in gutters. That does not work! You really do need these 6-inch gutters. And these guys are amazing! I had zero dripping from my fascia board. These things look great! I actually hear water going through my gutters as opposed to just dripping all over the ground. I received the quote the next day, the pricing was very fair and affordable, and I decided to move forward. When it came time for the install, Colin himself--the owner--came out with his assistant to complete the job. They were efficient, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. I went with 6-inch gutters and added gutter guards just to be extra, and the setup has been fantastic. The improvement was immediate. Water flows cleanly through the system, there's no overflow or dripping where it shouldn't be, and everything looks great on the house. You can tell the difference in quality compared to standard gutter systems.
